** Snape is dealt with differently because Harry deals with him differently. Rather than being passive and easy to bully Harry constantly challenges Snape which further reminds him of his father. The thing is that he acts with absolutely bat-shit insane reactions [[spoiler: (calling a student a Mudblood and threatening to break his wand for minor offense... under Dumbledore perview)]] that simply are too absurd for a half competent spy or proffesional teacher to do. It's the very anvilicious and unsubtle way to point him as a Bad guy that make him so flat.

Guys were Badass.

* IJustShotMarvinInTheFace: Mr. Weasley proves the inefficiency of a Magic Gun to Harry... by putting the gun in his head and pulling the trigger. The worst part? ''it was loaded and Mr. Weasley was not pulling the trigger with enough force''. It took [[RetiredBadass Harry]] several minutes to stop shacking.

* WarIsHell:The alternative future war ended with [[spoiler:the virtual destruction of Magical Britain, the Dead of every single named character, the "helpful" invasion of the Americans and the great probability of the break of the masquerade]].

* DesignatedHero: Harry. [[spoiler:Upon returning from the future, one of the first things he does is to make sure to ruin the Dursley's lives. They treated him like crap, and in this timeline ItGotWorse, but he's practically giddy during Chapter 22 when he learns that they lost their house.]]

* WishFulfillment: One of the first thing Harry does is to make sure the Dursley's lives are ruined, and then he goes on to avoid most of the uncomfortable things Snape originally did in the novels. * SoOkayIsAverage: Is a grammatically good story, had interesting characterization, deep exploration of Magical racism and a few moments of Awesome, Funny and Heartwarming. But is also rather flat, one dimensional Villians with idiot balls glued to their backs, Derailment and Fillibuster to near toxic levels and use to much angst, sometimes badly managed.
