Played With because Trixie is actually ''glad'' the duel is off (as her confidence boost wasn't ''that high'')...but pretends to be disappointed so as to save face, convincing Twilight she really ''is'' and causing her to 'cast a healing spell on herself' and put the show back on, accidentally crushing what confidence Trixie had gained from her training.
