-->'''Mare-Do-Well''': I already told you, I can't reveal my identity. It may compromise others that I have worked with. My enemies are still out there, trying to find me. And if they know who I communicate with, they'll likely go through them to get to me. Who knows, they could be listening to me right now.
* IWorkAlone: Besides the occasional partnership of associates (at leas in Daring Do's case, and implied in Mare-Do-Well's case) both Daring Do and the Mysterious Mare-Do-Well's jobs aren't particularly social, though Mare-Do-Well upholds this troupe the most. However, ever since her investigations into the dangerous HURRICANE, and her team-up with Daring Do, has caused her to consider getting a partner.
** In Chapter 11, it is revealed that [[spoiler:somepony once got mixed up with Mare-Do-Well's work, like Daring Do, but ends up getting killed in the process.]]

* StubbornMule: Generally both Daring DO and Mare-Do-Well are this, but especially Mare-Do-Well. Something which annoys Daring Do at the times when its clear that that Mare-Do-Well is clearly not well.

* YouWatchTooMuchX: Daring Do tells Mare-Do-Well that she reads too much comic books, as a response to her . Mare-Do-Well is amused.

* DeadpanSnarker: Mysterious Mare-Do-Well
* ElaborateUndergroundBase: Mare-Do-Well's HomeBase is this. And it definitely lives up to its elaborate name. The entrance is located one mile below Canterlot, hidden. You then take an elevator down below to the most extravagant suite you have ever seen. As seen in Chapter 2 and Chapter 5, it contains white metallic walls, an emerald carpeting, a desk for solving crime, a wall of gadgets, a wall that has a computer behind it, a dark room, a elaborate kitchen, amongst under things. The only thing missing in the base is the [[SuperheroTrophyShelf trophy shelf]].
