No audience reactions outside YMMV.

* ComplexityAddiction: For Tirac's plan to succeed, he needed to wait for the rainbow bridge to open again, take the elements to Earth to subvert their power to have a superweapon ready, unleash HellOnEarth in Equestria and hope his mother actually shows up, all the while posing as the good guy so no heroes thwart him before he is ready. As it turned out, it took 5000 years for the bridge to re-open. Any sensible person would probably abandon the plan after a couple centuries, but Tirac really wanted his revenge. The sheer absurdity of this is one of the big reasons that this chapter was officially removed.

Straw means they don't even really believe in the ideals they preach. Seems like just regular hypocrite.

"G1 Tirek" doesn't exist, he was originally named Tirac.

* PastExperienceNightmare: Megan mentions having nightmares for months after facing (and killing) [[BigBad Tirek]]. She was, after all, just a kid.

Originally, the story had an eight chapter, where it was revealed that Princesses Celestia and Luna are actually old enemies Tirek and Grogar, who have been secretly protecting and ruling the Ponies since the destruction of Dream Valley, all as part of a far-reaching scheme to eventually have revenge on Megan. The massive amount of controversy this elicited, from sheer fan disapproval of the PlotTwist to the constant comments on the sheer absurdity of them actually maintaining such a ploy for ''five thousand years'', resulted in the author officially discanonifying that chapter and removing it (the original text used to be preserved in a blog entry, [[MissingEpisode which is now deleted]]).

* EvilVsEvil: For their plan to work, Grogar and Tirek had to keep other villains off their turf. They ended up fighting both Sombra and Discord.
* FreudianExcuse: Tirek has some serious ParentalAbandonment issues.
* GambitPileup: The whole of G1 and G4 turns out to be a single one between Majesty, Tirek, Grogar and G1 Twilight.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: As a side effect of maintaining their ruse, Tirek and Grogar gave Equestria a couple thousand years of prosperity. For all their villainy, they seem to be more efficient at good than evil.
* RevengeBeforeReason: Tirek spent 4500 years pretending to be a benevolent ruler, just for a chance to get his revenge.
* WeCanRuleTogether: Tirek tries to pull this on Megan, claiming that they are NotSoDifferent. [[spoiler: Since he is only half right, this fails.]]

WAFF is now on Sugar Wiki.

While originally inspired by the ''[[http://www.fimfiction.net/story/59904/bathtime-for-ponies Bathtime for Ponies]]'' {{WAFF}} series, it has since grown into a serious, DarkerAndEdgier interpretation of G1.

We're talking about Grogar the evil ram here, not Grognar the Barbarian from Fallout.
