** Every season from ''[[Series/PowerRangersNinjaStorm Ninja Storm]]'' through ''[[Series/PowerRangersRPM RPM]]'' has fake Americans, once the production moved to New Zealand and hired several locals to do fake Californian accents. Not all of them could [[OohMeAccentsSlipping do it consistently]], to the point that in ''[[Series/PowerRangersMysticForce Mystic Force]]'', Richard Brancatisano's inability to do an American accent led to his character becoming Australia. Beginning with ''[[Series/PowerRangersSamurai Samurai]]'', the main cast got a lot more variety -- mostly Americans, but a few Aussies, Kiwis, Britons, and Canadians (including much of the cast of ''[[Series/PowerRangersSPD SPD]]'').
** Bede Skinner (Jarrod in ''[[Series/PowerRangersJungleFury Jungle Fury]]'') is probably the most obvious fake American in the series.
** New Zealander James Napier's horrible and incessantly slipping accent on ''[[Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder Dino Thunder]]'' led to a DrinkingGame among the fans. It's particularly noticeable when he has to say something fast or lengthy (or both). His speech in "Wave Goodbye" goes on for so long that American and Kiwi seem to merge together into Cockney.

** In the First Doctor's Old West adventure, "[[Recap/DoctorWhoS3E8TheGunfighters The Gunfighters]]", the entire guest cast is American. With only a few exceptions, they are played by British actors doing hilariously bad attempts at American accents. Canadian actor Shane Rimmer does an (unsurprisingly) much more convincing American accent as Seth Harper, while still technically being a Fake American.

** In [[Recap/DoctorWhoS5E1TheTombOfTheCybermen "The Tomb of the Cybermen"]], Vienna-born George Roubicek and Welshman Clive Merrison play Americans Captain Hopper and Jim Callum. Their accents are quite awful.
** "[[Recap/DoctorWhoS5E7TheWheelInSpace The Wheel in Space]]" features a multinational space station crew played almost exclusively by British actors. Among them is Michael Goldie putting on what appears a (very bad) Dixie accent to play Elton Laleham.
** Milo Clancey, in [[Recap/DoctorWhoS6E6TheSpacePirates "The Space Pirates"]], has an outrageous hillbilly accent courtesy of New Zealander Gordon Gostelow.

* Creator/BennyHill tried to affect a New York accent in a few sketches playing an Archie Bunker-like character. He didn't even come close.

* Music/TamminSursok (of Australia soap opera ''Series/HomeAndAway'') was cast as Colleen Carlton on American soap opera ''Series/TheYoungAndTheRestless'', which launched her North American career. She has been in various movies and TV shows since then using an American accent, including as Jenna on ''Series/PrettyLittleLiars''. And in 2022 when she returned to the world of Australian soaps - she played American Montana Marcel on ''Series/{{Neighbours}}''. Although her natural accent is Australian, the actress was actually born in South Africa.

* ''Series/AsTimeGoesBy'' has an arc where Lionel and Jean work on an American miniseries. The producer they associate with has an American accent that's just as bad as the miniseries.

* ''Series/BostonLegal'': In Season 4, the English actress Creator/SaffronBurrows joined the show as lawyer Lorraine Weller, with a really bad fake American accent. After a few episodes (presumably after the producers realized the tremendous mistake they had made by casting her as an American), they used a hastily concocted plot twist (she was in hiding from her past life as a high-class British madam) that enabled her to revert to her natural speech, and the horrible American accent was never heard again.

* On ''Series/{{CSI}}'', Louise Lombard played Sofia Curtis, and did such a poor job trying to sound American that it turned into a WhatTheHellIsThatAccent situation.

* ''Series/{{Eureka}}'': James Callis as Dr. Grant. Since Grant is also a time-traveler, he has to affect an American accent from the 1940s. The accent is really terrible, although some of that is attributable to the occasionally {{narm}}tastic lines he has to deliver.

* ''Series/{{Journeyman}}'': Creator/KevinMcKidd's perpetually slipping American accent can be grating on the ears.

* ''The Last Days Of Lehman Brothers'' sees James Bolam put on an ''atrocious'' "Southern" accent.

* ''Series/TheWilds'': Australian actors Mia Healey, Creator/RachelGriffiths, Shannon Barry and Michael Teh are playing Americans. New Zealand actresses Erana James and Sarah Pidgeon too. Jenna Clause is Canadian playing American.

** Brit Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac.

* ''Series/TheWilds'': Australian actors Mia Healey, Creator/RachelGriffiths, Shannon Barry and Michael Teh are playing Americans. New Zealand actresses Erana James and Sarah Pidgeon too. Jenna Clause is Canadian playing American.

* ''{{Series/Haven}}'' has [[{{Wrestling/Edge}} Adam Copeland]], who makes no attempt to hide his Canadian accent despite playing a Maine native. Creator/LucasBryant does a bit better, though there is a hilarious clip in the season 4 blooper reel where he is unable to say "resources" without sounding Canadian, and gets increasingly upset with himself as he tries and fails.

** In ''Series/LegendsOfTomorrow'' we have Canadian Creator/VictorGarber and British Franz Drameh playing Americans Martin Stein and Jefferson Jackson, as well as Australian Creator/DominicPurcell playing American Mick Rory. There's also German (living in the US) Creator/FalkHentschel playing multiple reincarnations of Hawkman, several of whom are American (and all of whom sound the same, even the {{Ancient Egypt}}ian one).

* In ''Series/{{Lucifer}}'', South African-born Kiwi Creator/LesleyAnnBrandt plays Mezzakine. She wanted to make the character a FakeBrit, but ExecutiveMeddling saw her using an American voice.

* ''Series/NancyDrew2019'': {{Invoked}}. It turns out that Bess isn't actually American. She is actually British, and her credentials are fake. The actress is herself also British (or Iranian descent) as well.

* ''Series/{{Shadowhunters}}'': Jace is played by English actor Dominic Sherwood, while Valentine, Jocelyn, and Hodge are all played by Canadian actors.

* ''Series/{{Supergirl|2015}}'' has the British Creator/DavidHarewood portray Hank Henshaw, the head of DEO. The Irish Creator/KatieMcGrath plays Lena Luthor, Lex Luthor's adopted sister. Her accent slips from scene to scene, but it's said that Lena was adopted, so her actual nationality isn't stated.

* ''Series/ObiWanKenobi'': Besides having Creator/JoelEdgerton and Bonnie Piesse reprising their roles as Owen and Beru Lars (see [[Film/FakeAmerican here]] for more info on that.) we have New Zealander Creator/SimoneKessell using an American accent for her portrayal of Queen Breha Organa.

* ''Series/MotherlandFortSalem'': Most of the main cast are not actually Americans. Taylor Hickson is a Canadian. Amalia Holm is Swedish. Jessica Sutton is a South African. Lyne Renee is Belgian. Kai Bradbury's a Canadian too. Guest star Bernadette Beck is English.

* ''Series/LAsFinest'': Due to the series being filmed in Canada, many of the characters are played by Canadians. This includes Jenna (Sarah Desjardins) and Townes (Daniel Maslany).

** In ''Series/{{Iron Fist|2017}}'', the two leads are British -- Creator/FinnJones (Danny Rand) and Creator/JessicaHenwick (ComicBook/ColleenWing), and there's also Australian Creator/DavidWenham as Harold Meachum.

* ''Series/IndiaSweetsAndSpices'': Adil Hussain, an Indian, and Nepali Manisha Koirala play an Indian couple who have become US citizens.
