* BareYourMidriff: A common trait in Sylvan fashion, both to male and female characters of that race. Cleo is the only Sylvan shown to not show her belly (and this helps mark her as an oddball among Sylvans), although she does bare hers on some of her alternate skins.

* CrystalDragonJesus: The Ilian Church is basically the ThemeParkVersion of Christianity if Jesus were a woman [[spoiler:and also a faerie]] with a huge Manacaster who worked alongside a powerful dragon. It even has denominations/sects: the northern Ilian Church (the Ilian Church of Grams; the original sect) and the southern Ilian Church (the Ilian Church of Alberia; the newer sect). The southern Church is separated further with Perditionist and Conservative factions.

* BonusBoss:
** The Advanced Dragon Trials, featuring a High version on one of the Greatwyrms. They're much fiercer than their regular counterparts, with souped-up versions of their regular attacks and many new and tricky moves. They require a high amount of Might to unlock, and even then, if you're not careful you'll find yourself downed in short order. Taking them down requires high-end equipment and an incredibly powerful and coordinated team, but if you win, you'll be able to use the High Greatwyrms as your shapeshift Dragons, obtain a Fafnir Statue to boost your Adventurers' stats, and craft powerful High Dragon Weapons.
** The "''Fire Emblem'': Lost Heroes" Event adds Alfonse as one, making his attacks hit like a truck and also using Force Strikes like the players can.
** The "''Mega Man'': Chaos Protocol" Event also adds the Blue Bomber himself as one, and he shows no mercy as he uses every move he had in his second game, including some that not even his playable counterpart can do. He definitely shows us why he's Dr. Light's greatest robot!
** The Agito series introduces a new set of them. Unlike the High Dragons who were testing Euden's might, this group is out for blood. Eventually, they gained a HarderThanHard version called Legend Difficulty, which is so tough it's in its own separate menu from the other Agito fights.
** Morsayati himself becomes this in the Morsayati Reckoning showdown, which is on par with '''Legend Agito''' difficulty. Only the best of the best are walking away from this one.
** Another set was introduced in Rise of the Sinister Dominion, where you fight various fallen angel counterparts of the North Grastaea Apostles. These fights are stronger than the normal Agito, but not quite as bad as the Legend fights, but they have some nasty tricks that nullifies many of the top tier Adventurers. Besting them yields Wyrmprints to push your Agito weapons to their limit.
** Trials of the Mighty pits you against souped up versions of various other bosses from other areas of the game, such as Thor or Poseidon. They also have the same nullifier trick the Sinister Dominion bosses have. The main reason to take them on is to get Convictions and Devotions of a specific Gala Adventurer to unlock their Mana Spirals.

** The various Elemental Weapons are all wreathed in the color of their element, letting you know which one it is at a glance. Red for Flame, blue for Water, green for Wind, yellow for Light, and purple for Shadow. Taken to the extreme with the Chimeratech Weapons, which all have the same design for each type of weapon, just with different colors. UpToEleven with the Master Agito Weapons, which wreath the Weapon in the element itself.

* AerithAndBob: In such a fantastic setting, one would come across names such as Ezelith, Cibella, Ranzal, Elisanne, Sarisse, Joe, Sophie, Vanessa...and that's just [[LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters a handful]] of the characters.

* AbsenteeActor: Alex and Laxi rarely appear unless they are directly involved in the story at hand, and very, very rarely ever appear in Events.

** The war between the Perditionist and Conservative branches of the Southern Ilian Church, which was a major factor revolving around Elisanne's character the first two thirds of the story. There's also the re-appearance of the assassin Dorothy.

%%* AlternateRealityGame: There seems to be one going on involving the Cube bosses in the EX levels first introduced in Chapter 10.

** The "''Fire Emblem'': Lost Heroes" Event adds Alfonse as one, making his attacks hit like a truck and also using Force Strikes like the players can, letting everyone know why he's called “[[FanNickname the Benchlord]].”

** A crossover promotional event occurs between ''Dragalia Lost'' and ''VideoGame/FireEmblemHeroes'' held on April 2019. During the event, players could summon Marth, Fjorm, and Veronica, while Alfonse is the GuestStarPartyMember requiring friendship points to be a permanent member. The event returned on April 2020 to coincide the [[Franchise/FireEmblem series']] 30th anniversary, bringing along Sharena, Chrom, Tiki, and Peony.

** An event held on November 2020 involves ''VideoGame/PrincessConnectReDive'' and is the first time Dragalia Lost crosses over with another Creator/{{Cygames}} property.

* ArrangeMode: The Kaleidoscape is a mode that takes the ''Dragalia'' gameplay and applies it to a [[{{Roguelike}} rouge-lite]] format where your goal is to clear fifty floors of randomized layouts and enemies. You can only use weapons and equipment that you find in the Kaleidoscape itself, and they skills and stats they have are randomized. While you can bring two shared skills in, they are single-use, as are any skills and dragons you find within the Kaleidoscape. Completing runs can earn you amber used to exchange for special items or upgrade your abilities for future runs, and special portrait Wyrmprints with randomized boosts.

** The amount of extra points you can gain in the Alberian Battle Royale from defeating other players is 10, so the maximum amount of points you can earn in a single round is 90 BP.

* "A Sweeping Retrospective" only includes simple enemies, no bosses of any kind, a proper story, and no extra grinding rewards to complete, only consisting of enhanced versions of the Avenue of Power, Avenue of Fortune, and Elemental Ruins quests.

** Three-Star Dragons go up to Level 60, Four-Star to 80, and Five-Star to 100 after being fully unbound. Certain Dragons[[note]]The High Greatwyrms, the Void Dragons, Cereberus, Leviathan, Garuda, Cupid, and Chthonius[[/note]] can be unbound a fifth time to go up to Level 120.

* ContinuitySnarl: Gala Luca's Adventurer Story has him take up Mascula's sword, which is resting at the Halidom, in order to unite the people and live in harmony. While the exact placement of the story, outside of taking place after Chapter 11, isn't stated, Chapter 18 shows that Laxi carries Mascula's sword with her at all times, allowing Luca to use it, presumably for the first time, in North Grastaea. Moreover, Gala Luca's Adventure Story ends with [[spoiler:him, Sarisse, and other Sylvans banished from the village for cutting down a sacred tree]]. Come time for "The Children of Yggdrasil" Event, this isn't brought up in the slightest.
