* UnsafeHaven: Antarctica, the one place on the planet where no Mutant Dino can go... that is, until the Mutant Dinos started adapting to arctic climates. Don't get me started on the riots, either.

* UnstoppableRage: Frozeen whenever he goes into HeroicSafeMode.

* UnwittingPawn: Dust used the Dino Attack Team's manpower and resources to get him to the temple of Hotep III. He they planed to throw them away like the "broken toys that they are".

* UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans: Justification of some of the more extreme realists of the team such as Shadow, who are willing to do anything to end the Dino Attack.

* VillainousBreakdown: Dr. Rex. He's gone from a gentlemen-like scientist with misguided goals to a maddened monster who destroys everything in his path.

* WarIsHell: that guy from that show, [=PeabodySam=], Atton Rand, and Brikman [=McStudz=] have been known to use graphic descriptions of the battles and have all conveyed pretty clearly that war is not fun or glorious. Scenes set in the medical bay for example tend to show the stress and incredible amount of death and suffering that the staff have to deal with.

* WartimeWedding: Rex and Amanda's ''[[PiratesOfTheCaribbean At World's End]]''-inspired wedding during the final battle.

* WhatIf: ''L.E.G.O.'' and ''December 21, 2010'' are two WhatIf alternate endings to Dino Attack RPG; specifically, "What if Dino Attack Team failed to contain the Antarctica riots?" and "What if Dino Attack Team failed during the Adventurers' Island mission?"

* WhatTheHellHero: Rotor has George arrested for disobeying orders. Technically, while he may have had good reasoning for doing so as he had been thinking of the agents inside he did still explicitly refuse to carry out a direct order given by a superior officer, so Rotor's charges were valid. However, rather than simply talking to him and maybe some small punishment, he tries to have him executed by firing squad. Some people reacted the same way when he proceeded to attempt to torture Jenny.

* WhatTheHellPlayer: During the Antarctica mission, there was much emphasis, both IC and OOC, about the importance of keeping the mission secret. Despite these warnings, Atton Rand leaked the information through the actions of his primary character, Zenna, and two newly-created NPCs, Cam O'Cozy and French Fries. As the warnings were not heeded, the full consequences occurred, and suddenly the refugee facilities were full of panicked and angered rioters.

* WideEyedIdealist: Many of the Elite agents, but particularly Rex.

* AWizardDidIt: Literally. Soldier and Demoman became FireForgedFriends after they both angered [[LEGOCastle Majisto the Wizard]] and were forced to work together to defend a small castle from Majisto's dragon.

* WorstAid: [[LEGOIsland Enter and Return]] perform this as they always did, but now it is frequently [[LampshadeHanging lampshaded]] by Alan Pierce.
** Played for laughs when Enter saved a clinically dead patient by hitting her with a shark ''after'' conventional CPR and a defibrillator failed to revive her. Of course to be fair the patient in question had just been infected with another man's creative sparks.
** Also parodied when Shaw had to take Pierce to LEGO Island's hospital [[ItMakesSenseInContext after he accidentally ate a rediculously hot pizza]]. When trying to prove that she was a qualified doctor, it turned out that Clickitt apparently didn't know what a medical liscense was.

* WorthyOpponent: Dust viewed Rockford as a match for his intellect.

* WouldHurtAChild: While there has been no explicit mention of children being killed, Rotor has shown that he has no problem torturing them and possibly even ''enjoys'' doing so.

* XMeetsY: {{BIONICLE}} Meets [[{{LEGOExo-Force}} Exo-Force]] RPG. [[CanonDiscontinuity Enough said]].

* YourAnswerToEverything: Give Firecracker a problem, any problem- and I guarantee you 99.9% percent of the time he'll find a way to work [[StuffBlowingUp explosives]] into his solution.

* SacrificialLion: PBB, considering that he was a major character of the Alpha Team: Mission Deep Freeze RPG and was also a close friend of Rex in Dino Attack RPG itself.

* SameCharacterButDifferent: It turns out that Septimus, the loveable and naive Skeleton Drone, was actually Swerve from the Alpha Team [=RPGs=]. Justified, in that he was subjected to a [[{{Brainwashed}} Mind-Control Orb]] and suffered from LaserGuidedAmnesia, and upon rediscovering his true identity, started acting more like his old self again.

* SamusIsAGirl: None of the founding members realized that Pterisa was female until she spoke.
** Played With in the case of Pyro. It was originally Played Straight, until more recent developments revealed that Pyro was male all along and [[SweetPollyOliver the girl was actually posing as Pyro]].
* SanitySlippage: Dr. Rex, whose sanity has been slowly slipping for over fifty years before being rapidly accelerated in recent times.

* ScaledUp: Dr. Rex became a Mutant T-Rex. Kat became a T-1 Typhoon.
* ScarsAreForever: General is still covered with burn scars, Greybeard has refused any prosthetic eye replacements, Rex is stuck with limp legs, Dust's right hand is dead, Hotwire has refused a mechanical leg, and Talia won't consider plastic surgery for her scars.

* ScienceIsBad: While this trope may be invoked, since two very science-based organizations (XERRD and [=ShadowTech=]) have far-from-clean records, this trope is [[AvertedTrope averted]] by the inclusion of scientists such as Frank Einstein, Reptile, and Fuchs working for the Dino Attack Team.

* ScrewTheWarWerePartying: They might be trying to stop an invasion of mutant dinosaurs, but that doesn't exactly stop Rotor from sitting down and listening to some classical music once in a while.

* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: The Minifig/Mutant Lizard Hybrids deserted Enox Phorm, especially after realizing that Enox thought of them as expendable.

* SeaMonster: The octosaur, a strange octopus-like creature mixed with mutant dino DNA. Technically, it was mainly living in the good caverns, but the fact that one took a Coast Guard ship by surprise and quickly sunk it some time afterwords proves that they are still a formidable threat that could strike at any time.

* SecretKeeper: [[TheBartender Bartholomew Enderson]] to Silencia Venomosa.

* SecretUndergroundPassage: Cabin discovered one to be discovered under the XERRD Fortress, through which Strangebrick, Jenny, and Tom apparently managed to escape the fortress and past the Dino Attack Agents stationed outside.

* ShellShockedVeteran: Lance Williams. Technically, he hasn't been in the team for long, but it has had a significant impact on his mind.

* ShootTheMedicFirst: Stromling Zachary made an explicit point of killing J.D., though it wasn't so much because he was a medic as it was because he was worried about him finding a cure to the Maelstrom.

* ShotgunsAreJustBetter: Averted, out of all the weapons available to the team, shotguns are probably the least common weapon of choice (yes, they are less common than ''flintlock pistols'').
** They've become a bit more popular recently. Montoya owns a shotgun, although he never used it. Given he's a civillian, the gun is probably meant as little more than a last resort if he needs to defend himself. A shotgun is also the primary choice of weapon for one Sarah Bishop.

* SillyRabbitIdealismIsForKids: The viewpoint of Dino Attack Team's realist agents.

* SlashedThroat: Maria killed a few hybrids this way in Fort Legoredo. Also in the Trigger/Amanda flashback this was revealed to be the fate of Orange and implied to have happened to Verbal.

* SlidingScaleOfGenderInequality: Somewhere around level 5. Equality does exist between men and women, but the Smurfette Principle does come into play. Out of the few women in or assisting the team, at least one is an inexperienced rookie (Kate), and three are medics (Zenna, Crusher, and Carver). However, there are a small selection of action girls, such as Cabin and Amanda Claw. Also, many elite agents (particularity Rotor) explicitly refer to those under their command as their men, regardless of how many people of each gender are actually present. Most redshirts tend to be male as well.

** Level 5 was invoked just before the final battle. When one male Dino Attack agent bemoaned the fact that he was never going to see his "wife and kids" again, a female Dino Attack agent immediately followed up by lamenting the fact that she was never going to see her "husband and kids" again.

* SmartBomb: The Einstein Device during its Doctor Device stage of development.

* SmokingIsCool: Suprisingly used quite a lot for an RPG based on a LEGO line, [[DefiedTrope even though there is a strict "no smoking" policy in Dino Attack Headquarters]]. Many of Atton Rand's characters, especially his tougher ones are seen to smoke frequently, among them Snake, Trigger, Clint, and Angel Eyes.
** [[AvertedTrope Harshly averted]] by Amanda, who considered it insulting when Montoya offered her a cigarette. When one remembers that Bricassius was a smoker who burned her home down with a single cigarette, it becomes painfully obvious why Smoking is ''not'' Cool in her eyes.

* The Smurfette Principle: There are currently 241 named Dino Attack agents. Out of those there are currently only 20 female agents (Cabin, Zenna, Aravis, Claw, Dromus, Holly Vinyaya, Minerva Fabello, Shock, Stealth, Wing, Kara Wise, Kate Bishop, Shona, Zealot, Zelda, Maria, Scope, Katana, Wright, and A.J. Orange) plus a handful of female characters who work in the team but aren't officially agents, such as Elizabeth, Pterisa, and Sarah Bishop.

* SoleSurvivor: Aside from the small group of high-ranking individuals who teleported to safety, Dr. Strangebrick, Jenny, and Tom are the only known members of XERRD to have made survived the fortress being bombed and overrun by skeleton mummies. All of them were later captured by the Dino Attack team.
** Seeing as Paulie Gonepus also escaped the fortress and there were several unnamed XERRD operatives who tried to capture Cranky and Kiddy, there may be more survivors.

* SorryBillyButYouJustDontHaveLegs: [[AvertedTrope Averted]]. Rex got paralyzed from the waist down and confined to a wheelchair, yet somehow he's still allowed to go on the front lines during a combat mission which largely takes place in a jungle. However, that has not stopped other Dino Attack agents from suggesting that he stays away from the front lines and even earned some HypocriticalHumor from [[EvilCripple Zed Provhezor]]. Also, as a result of his situation, Amanda Claw refuses to leave Rex's side.

* SpeaksFluentAnimal: Rex, Keys, Frozeen, and PBB.

* SplitPersonality: Invoked but not confirmed. Amanda Claw does not personally believe that she has split personality, simply considering her darker side the result of giving in to negative feelings, but to anyone else it would seem that she has two very separate personalities.

** EyepatchOfPower: Snake, unsurprisingly. In fact [[Film/EscapeFromNewYork the guy who inspired him]] is the page image. There's also Demoman, Colonel, and Holly Vinyaya.

** ClosestThingWeGot: Garry's rationale for ordering Fuchs to help in the emergency room.

**** Think a semi-religious doctor the ClosestThingWeGot to a minister? During Rex and Amanda's WartimeWedding, Greybeard proclaimed that ''he'' was the Closest Thing We Got... because he's the oldest Minifig on the team?

** DontYouDarePityMe: Minerva did not want Zach to feel sorry for her because of her past.

** IWasNeverHere: [[CorruptCorporateExecutive Edward Korrupte]] made it quite clear to Silencia Venomosa that neither of them were in his office at that time on that day, and they were most certainly not having a conversation about infiltrating Mindstorms, Inc.

** IllKillYou: Rex made it very clear to French Fries that, if French Fries actually did run over Trouble, Rex would kill him.

** IfYouKillHimYouWillBeJustLikeHim: Garry's moral issues over whether to turn in Rotor. On the one hand he could keep quiet, allowing the team to keep a good leader that they will need in the upcoming battle, but he is still an accomplice to cold-blooded torture, making him no better. On the other hand, he could turn Rotor in. However, the team would be deprived of the one man who can lead a T-1 squad. He would also most likely be punished himself though probably not as severely as if he kept quiet, and worst of all Rotor might try to kill him out of anger. Interestingly, Garry actually chose to keep quiet, though he deliberately faked Jenny's death to get her as far away from Rotor as possible.

** ItHasBeenAnHonor: Specs, Semick, and Rex have all invoked this trope when talking to their fellow Dino Attack agents towards the end of the final battle.

** LikeASonToMe: Seeing as he was a barren man, Wallace Bishop viewed his lab assistant as his daughter.

** MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Rex had one of these moments after realizing that he beat a Mutant Lizard to death with a metal pipe.

** SoProudOfYou: Frank Einstein to Kate Bishop, to motivate her and give her confidence to [[spoiler:stop the Darkitect]]. Not that it did any good once the deed was done...

** WasItAllALie?: Rex asked [[spoiler:[[TheMole Ata]]]] this question, and [[spoiler:Ata's]] response was "yes".
*** Earlier, during the Adventurers' Island story arc, shortly after learning about Amanda's identity as Silencia Venomosa and her secret fear that "Amanda Claw" is just a mask, Rex asked Amanda this question in regards to their love. Thankfully, Amanda's response was "no", and that helped to keep her grounded.

** WouldYouLikeToHearHowTheyDied: According to Word of God, this is how Rex learned that Fssinister killed Roger Remous.

* TheStoic: Michelle Glados is reputed as the "master stoic", and anyone who can get under her skin [[NotSoStoic to cause her to show real emotion]] takes great pride in the ability.

* StrawCharacter: Soldier appears to be racist and sexist, occasionally aiming insults at foreigners and women. Given that he is depicted as comically inept, his moments of racism and sexism are not intended to be taken seriously, especially since they result in Soldier getting hurt by whomever he happens to be insulting.

** StrawMisogynist: Again, Soldier is sexist, and seeing that his sexist remarks usually get him beaten up by Maria, it's PlayedForLaughs.

* TheSwarm: Mutant Dinos, especially Mutant Lizards, find their strength in numbers.

* TagalongReporter: Just like in [[LEGODinoAttack the original line]], J. Theano for WDNO - Dino Radio.
** Scott is implied to have joined the team specifically to report on the final battle. He even brought a camera and radio equipment so he could conduct interviews and report live to Antarctica.

* TakeOurWordForIt: Atton Rand is intentionally vague on the exact nature of some of Trigger's previous jobs, only making it clear that some of them were pretty brutal.

* TakeThat: Every [[PardonMyKlingon cussword]] in Dino Attack RPG is an example of this.

* ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill: Maria's rather brutal murder of an unidentified hybrid officer. She smothered him, shot him through the head ''twice'', and then cut his throat open just to be sure.

* ThrowingOffTheDisability: [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]]. [[spoiler:[[LEGOUniverse Baron Typhonus]] used the Maelstrom to cure [[HandicappedBadass Rex's]] paralysis. Then, the Maelstrom turned on Rex, constricting him and leaving him unable to even move. When the Maelstrom finally let go, Rex was once again paralyzed.]]

* TimeTravel: Used by the Future Villains to travel from 2055 to 2010.

* ToBeLawfulOrGood: Wade during the aftermath of J.D.'s assassination. One the one hand, he could try to stabilize him, possibly getting some useful information but only delaying his inevitable death and most likely causing him a lot pain. On the other, he could let him die quickly and with a minimum of pain, but realizes that killing him also goes against his own personal morals as well as being the opposite of what he as a medic is responsible for doing.

* TokenEvilTeammate: Literally happened when [[LEGOAlphaTeam Ogel]], [[LEGOIsland The Brickster]], [[LEGOAdventurers Sam Sinister]], and [[KnightsKingdom2 Vladek]] [[EnemyMine joined the team]].

** Dust was not evil, but in comparison to other upstanding members of the Dino Attack Team...

* {{Tomboy}}: With the excaption of Naomi, there are not many girly girls in the D.A.
** Which is somewhat understandable, given that D.A.'s primary function is waging apocalyptic war against [[PrehistoricMonster giant horrific superpowered reptiles]].

* TomatoInTheMirror: When Rex was approached by The Phantom, he learned of XERRD's plot to destroy Dino Attack Team from the inside by disguising a Mutant Dino as a Dino Attack agent. Then The Phantom reveals that this Mutant Dino is none other than Rex himself. Both Downplayed, since Rex does not let this knowledge stop him from continuing to fight alongside Dino Attack Team, and Justified, since Rex's role as an infiltrator required for him to under go brainwashing to make his cover as realistic as possible (which, of course, [[GoneHorriblyRight Went Horribly Right]]).

* TooDumbToLive: Apparently Tom thought it would be a good idea to attack an experienced ex-military agent of the Dino Attack team who had only earlier the same day beaten a child (and him, for that matter) senseless.

* TookALevelInBadass: Nerdy Hertz killed a T-rex with an oxygen can and by firing a gun for the first time in his life. In addition, he had a broken arm, could not see out of one eye, had burns across his hands and legs, and had just survived a helicopter crash and blazing inferno.

* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Aside from his love for large weapons, Heavy believes EverythingsSatiatingWithSandwiches. Most of the pirates on the team enjoy rum, and Clint Wayne is occasionally seen drinking whiskey in his spare time.

** DeclarationOfProtection: Used mutually between Rex and Amanda. A tragically ironic instance was when Rex said this to Amanda just before their Iron Predator was destroyed by a XERRD missile.
