This Is War deals with the "coming out" of ''Series/{{Supernatural}}'' creatures in the Twenty First Century. After they have been exiled, stripped of their rights or simply abandoned by all other countries of the world, the last place these supernaturals can find solace is Great Britain, the one country to acknowledge and protect those rights. As such, thousands of said supernaturals poured into the country, stirring it up with their disputes and struggles. At first, the Government was overwhelmed, and these people were pretty much autonomous, governed by their own bodies who tried to keep order. While the Government is now adapting to the situation, Britain has become a melting pot for such species such as vampires, werewolves and demons, and untold more, and it can only be a matter of time before a spark triggers something major. It's subtle, it's unseen, but one thing is certain. This is war.

!! This Is War contains examples of:

* AbusiveParents: Roger parents sent him to a "therapy camp" for his psychic powers where he was subject to aversion therapy. They knew all of this and were okay with it.
* AnyoneCanDie: As all the characters are fully controlled by the members who play them, they can be killed at any point, although this usually requires getting someone to agree to doing it (not that it takes much effort to find a character willing to kill). Often used as a way to get rid of surplus characters
* ApologeticAttacker: Even though he has to drink blood to survive, which he takes from innocent people, Geoffrey makes sure not to kill them and leaves them somewhere to wake up safely. He even wrote an apology note once.
* BloodKnight: David fits the bill pretty well, pretty much living to kill vampires. Sion is one of several living embodiments of this trope. Hell, most of Archangel's characters fit the bill in some way.
* BloodLust: A side effect of vampirism
* CharacterDevelopment: Being a Roleplay, in spades.
* AChatWithSatan: Lucifer is a character, so plenty of characters have had these
* ChildrenAreInnocent: Averted with most characters, but especially with Geoffrey. The boy has seen his family killed, his house burnt, turned into the thing his family killed for a living, and has to drink blood to survive.
* ComedicSociopathy: Many of the site's members. Who shall remain nameless.
* CorruptTheCutie: What might happen to Geoffrey if he spends any more time with Robin.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: When Sion first arrives in Lincoln, he is found by Logan, and after a short conversation, shows his true form and attacks
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Sion is a sadomasochistic war demon who loves to kill, but even he thought it was unnecessary to have six demons there to kill Zophitia.
* FantasticRacism: Pretty much the basis of the series. It'd be easier to count the characters who aren't racist to another species in some way
** David. The guy wants all vampires dead with no exceptions
* ForgivenButNotForgotten: As of their most recent interaction, it looks this way between David and Robyn.
* FreudianExcuse: True, a small group of vampires slaughtered David's entire family, but that's no excuse for wanting all vampires dead
* FunctionalAddict: Vampires as a whole count, needing blood to survive
* GoshDangItToHeck: Roger has issues with swearing. He once called Robin a bitch when she was beating him up, and was shocked.
* HandOrObjectUnderwear: Tex has tried this a few times. It doesn't normally work
* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: David can't seem to decide if he wants to be good or just murder vampires.
* HotBlooded: Argalus, a warrior angel. It's served him well as a Spartan warrior and guardian though
* HumanRightsIssues: Well, not human strictly, but the rights of the Supernaturals being taken away creates the setting of the roleplay.
* ICanStillFight: David. The guy doesn't know when he should admit he's lost
* InterspeciesRomance: Many. Oh so many.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Tex. She prefers to solve things by punching them, works as a debt collector, and is generally a hard to like bitch. Get to know her, however, and she'll fiercely defend you to the death.
* LastNameBasis: Per Logan's request, Tex calls him Graeme
* LoveInterests: Oh so many.
* MadeofIron: Demons, Angels and Demons are all reasonably impervious to harm, no-selling most of what hits them. Most supernatural species have a touch of this, able to take great deals of punishment
* MonstrousHumanoid: The true form of many demons
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: David's reaction to shooting Robyn, the first time he thought that while hunting
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: Lucifer seems like a good example
* NiceGuy: It's pretty hard to dislike Roger. Unless you happen to be Robin
* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: David's suffered a few in his time
* NormalPeople: Very very few of these
* OlderIsBetter: Older demons tend to be more powerful
* OohMeAccentsSlipping: Tex, mainly because the person who plays her struggles with accents and idioms.
* ParentalIssues: Probably easier to name characters who don't have some of this going on
* PoliceAreUseless: Plenty of murder, assault, threats, robbery, and many other crimes going on, but it's normally up to characters to defend themselves, and few characters are arrested for their wrongdoings.
* PreMortemOneLiner: David delivers a rather dark one "Your fault." before shooting a young vampire through the head.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: When Robyn is dragged away by vampires, David presses forward and routs several vampires. Not bad for a measly human
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: What David believes about his hunting.
* ShoutOut: The playby for Roger is Rooster Teeth's Gavin Free. Roger's Surname? Gavinsdale
* SoapOpera: Or as many plot twists as one
* StockholmSyndrome: Tex might be a case with Zophitia.
* SuperWeight: Quite a few of the most powerful demons
* TalkingToThemself: David does this mentally a lot, often criticising himself or comparing himself unfavourably to his (dead) brother.
** Tex, occasionally
* TakeThatKiss: Kayley seems overly fond of doing this to David.
* WizardsAndWitches: Only witches, but a fair few
* WomenAreDelicate: Averted many many times.
* WouldHitAGirl / WouldHurtAChild: David, as long as they were a vampire
* YouHateWhatYouAre: Geoffrey, to a certain extent
* YouWouldntLikeMeWhenImAngry: Tex tries this a few times. It tends not to work.
* ZombieApocalypse: In not one but TWO spoof threads (both containing Robin).
