''Spirit Trials'' is the second installment of the Iris of Vortex series, centering around veteran Scarf Aimi Akane and the rest of her FiveManBand. Initially starting as a bit of SliceOfLife for the first one-third, the story enters a bigger arc revolving around a {{McGuffin}} that corrupts the minds of those who seek them.

The setting, characters, and plot points were heavily inspired by Fanfic/TheFiveScarves.
