* BareYourMidriff: Shantae wears a red bedlah most of the time, and has attracted some confusion by her outfit choice, partially to her chagrin. By the end of the prologue, she's already made a silent declaration to put on some casual clothes so no one else says anything.

* CoitusEnsues: Miu decides to spend an evening with Terezi, considering the motive. However... this is [[ShamelessFanserviceGirl Miu and Terezi]]. GRatedSex was out of the question from the beginning. Thankfully, it can be ignored, so to some it'll just be a SexyDiscretionShot.

* BalefulPolymorph: To demonstrate the first motive, SIR turns Edgeworth into a rat. This turns out to be the first motive- over the course of the next week, the subjects will slowly turn into mindless animals. They all get better, but some sooner than others - Edgeworth in particular has to wait until the end of the story.

* CoitusEnsues: Miu decides to spend an evening with Terezi, considering the [[BalefulPolymorph motive]]. However... this is [[ShamelessFanserviceGirl Miu and Terezi]]. * SacrificialLion: [[Recap/OKKOLetsBeHeroesS2E18CrossoverNexus Strike]], the same person who managed to [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu X out]] characters like [[WesternAnimation/TheGrimAdventuresOfBillyAndMandy Grim]] and (a weaker copy of) [[WesternAnimation/{{Villainous}} Black Hat]], ends up [[BodyHorror horribly disfigured]] via an intentional TeleportationMisfire when the DeadlyGame begins. Downplayed as he [[AndIMustScream didn't exactly die]].

* FishOutOfTemporalWater: Merrick comes from the WWII era, and is understandably confused and curious about the technological advances since his time. Both he and Miu realize this fairly quickly during the prologue.

* WideEyedIdealist: Kaede pretends to be one during the beginning of the game, causing her to have conflicts with [[TheCynic Zarc]].

[[DownplayedTrope he is still not good in the slightest]], being moreso ChaoticNeutral here then outright evil.

* CrossoverShip: Given the kind of role play this is, this isn't surprising, with the main ship being [[ShamelessFanserviceGirl Miu and Terezi]], to the point of them ''[[MakingLoveInAllTheWrongPlaces having sex in the infirmary]] [[RefugeInAudacity before the first trial]]''.|
