** The Devil Getter which is a fusion between Devilman and the Getter Robo in Devilman VS Getter Robo is a cross between an EldritchAbomination and an EvilIsCool EvilOverlord that is demonic but is firmly on the side of good. Its intimidating and daunting appearance can easily mistake it as a villain in another work if it weren't for the fact that the Devilman franchise has equally, if not, more evil looking demons.

** Joseph Joestar from Manga/BattleTendency, besides his signature green scarf which he loses, he tends to wear darker colors and is an irrating trolling delinquent to almost everyone he meets, in contrast to his NiceGuy grandfather Jonathan. Even the vampified Straizo is almost convinced that Joseph isn't a hero, yet when he tests him by holding a girl hostage and rips out one of her teeth and the immediate reaction is an UnstoppableRage, Straizo's estimation (before getting beaten) that Joseph is actually good as Jonathan deep down - is proven correct. * Rachnera Arachnera from Anime/MonsterMusume is a giant black Arachne. She's part spider and as such naturally looks scary and intimidating. However, Rachnera herself is merely misunderstood this way. She's really a charming and flirtatious young creature, who's at worst only mischievous...and kinky. Kimihito accepted her, looking past her arachnid physique. Hell he even likes her multiple legs, admitting he had a leg fetish.
** Lala as well is in the same boat as Rachnera. Being just as sinister (though not as morbid) as Rachnera, Lala doesn't actually mean harm to Kimihito and cast. Poor Lala is even less appreciated by humans, due to her deathly appearance. Still, among the other monster girls, she's just your resident Goth Goth girl.
