Hello World!
Twilight of the Anthropocene is a Hearts of Iron IV Game Mod that is set in an alternate timeline in which the transistor was invented 20 years earlier in 1935 and as a result technology is 20 years ahead of OTL. Currently in 0.11 version.

This Game Mod provides examples of:
- Alternate History: The point of divergence is the transistor being invented in 1935 instead of 1955 as was the case in our timeline.
- Balkanize Me:
- Germany was divided after WW2 into three new countries: the Republic of Westphalia, Austro-Bavaria and the Prussian Democratic Republic.
- India has collapsed into several states by the start of the game.
- Civil War: It wouldn't be a HOI4 mod without its many civil wars.
- Nazi Germany fell into civil war after Hitler's death.
- South Sudan is in a civil war between Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army, the remnants of the South Sudanese government and the intervening East African Federation.
- Should the Sudan People's Liberation Movement be the one to reunify the country, it will fall into a second civil war opposing the Nuer White Army to the Arrow Boys Militia.
- Somalia is in a civil war opposing Islamist insurgents to the Somalian government supported by the United Nations' military intervention.
- At game start, Iraq is in the middle of a civil war between Ba'athists, Islamists, Liberals, and Turkmen and Kurdish nationalists.
- The United Arab Emirates are facing a revolt from its migrant laborers as a result of the abuse the latter are subject to under the Kafala system.
- South Africa will fall into civil war between the Apartheid government, White nationalists and Black nationalists.
- Turkey can undergo a civil war between the Military, Islamists, Leftists, Maoists and Kurdish nationalists.
- Lebanon can potentially go through its third civil war during the game.
- The United States will inevitably fall into a Second American Civil War.
- A Day in the Limelight: The mod gives significant importance to figures much more obscure in OTL.
- Point of Divergence: The mod's primary point of divergence is the invention of the MOSFETnote by Konrad Suze in 1935, approximately 20 years sooner than in OTL and resulting in technology being more advanced by the same amount of time.
- A secondary point of divergence is the successful assassination of Adolf Hitler on 13 March 1943 on his flight from Smolensk, causing the Third Reich to fall into Civil War and thus requiring the Allies to make use of interim transitional governments much more.
- Retro Universe: The mod's UI is based on the late 1990's to early 2000's Windows aesthetic.
