''WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants'' is well-known for creating humor that, by all accounts, should be tasteless, and yet makes you laugh for how [[CrossesTheLineTwice outlandish it really is]].

Having all the other band members respond like it's a genuine tragedy, complete with all the other members [[DueToTheDead place their hands over the hearts respectfully]] ''while one of the trumpet players plays "Taps"'' (and all the while, [[TroubledFetalPosition Squidward is curled up in a sad little ball of defeat on the ground]]) crosses it more times than there are episodes of ''[=SpongeBob=]''.

** Sandy chasing them in violent rage is disturbing at first. Patrick being lassoed backwards over the horizon and ''randomly exploding'' makes the scene funny again.
