Thuso Mbedu (born 8 July 1991) is a South African actress of Zulu, Xhosa, and Sotho descent.
Mbedu began her career with soaps in her native South Africa. She got her big break with ''[[Series/IsThunzi Is'Thunzi]]'', which won her an International Emmy. Internationally, she became known with the Creator/PrimeVideo miniseries ''Series/TheUndergroundRailroad'', an adaptation of the [[Literature/TheUndergroundRailroad seminal novel of the same name]].
