Teletoon is the Canadian version of Creator/CartoonNetwork Indeed they have aired many CN Originals. , debuting alongside Creator/TheComedyNetwork and The Space Channel when the cable channel options opened up in the late Nineties. Teletoon is a bilingual service, with two separate networks serving the English- and French-speaking populations of Canada. Teletoon Retro was launched in 2007, providing nostalgic viewers with older cartoons like WesternAnimation/TheFlintstones, WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory, and WesternAnimation/GarfieldAndFriends. Teletoon at Night (launched in 2002 as The Detour on Teletoon and later renamed to Teletoon Detour in 2008 before adopting its current name in 2009) (9:00 PM to 3:00 AM) can be considered the equivalent of Creator/AdultSwim. Originally owned by a joint venture of Astral Media, owner of the Family Channel, and Corus Entertainment, owners of Creator/YTV, Corus bought out its partner's stake in Teletoon in 2013, when Astral was acquired by Bell Media (owners of Creator/CTV). As a result, YTV and Teletoon are now sister networks.
The first thing an American viewer will probably notice when looking at the list of their shows would be the almost complete absence of any anime, although both versions have shown Cardcaptors, Anime/Bakugan, Anime/SpiderRiders, and Anime/BattleBDaman at some pointAnd they were responsible for the Animesque WesternAnimation/MyLifeMe, with the French network also having broadcasted Anime/Pokemona Quebec French dub that was one of the few French Pokémon media to use English Mon and character names!, Franchise/Digimon, Anime/Beyblade and Manga/Naruto. Otherwise you can just call the channel "Creator/CartoonNetwork Canada." Part of their license also dictates they have to produced some original Canadian content, which has led to fine series like adaptations of Literature/Redwall, WesternAnimation/Silverwing and ComicStrip/ForBetterOrForWorse as well as original ones like WesternAnimation/WhatAboutMimi and WesternAnimation/AngelaAnaconda.

Teletoon is the Canadian version of Creator/CartoonNetwork, debuting alongside Creator/TheComedyNetwork and The Space Channel when the cable channel options opened up in the late Nineties. There are two separate channels, one in French and one in English. Teletoon Retro started airing in 2009, providing nostalgic viewers with older cartoons. Teletoon at Night (9:00 PM to 3:00 AM) can be considered the equivalent of Creator/AdultSwim.
Creator/AdultSwim. Originally owned by a joint venture of Astral Media, owner of the Family Channel, and Corus Entertainment, owners of Creator/YTV, Corus bought out it's partner's stake in Teletoon in 2013, when Astral got sold to Bell Media (owners of Creator/CTV). As a result, YTV and Teletoon are now sister networks.

It's nightly broadcasts contain the more "adult" animation such as WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy, WesternAnimation/Futurama and others (including little-seen shows such as WesternAnimation/Undergrads and WesternAnimation/CloneHigh, which are often shown endlessly in repetition because of nightly broadcasts of these short-lived series), as well as whatever new show Creator/CartoonNetwork comes out with. Expect Franchise/ScoobyDoo in the daytime, and various Canadian Content shows as well, especially early on. WesternAnimation/TheDatingGuy has become a new Canadian series that gets a lot of play.
Teletoon is somewhat notorious for airing live action American movies such as Film/TheMatrix; however, Canadian Content regulations prevent this from leading to NetworkDecay (So far).
