In ''Halo 4'', he can hold his own against Ryan and [[TheAce Ray]] but he gets cut down easily whenever it comes down to sniping or long-range gunfights.

* EpicFail: It isn't his fault all the time, to be fair, but he truly has made some epic screw ups over the years.
** ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 30. Gavin jumped into the ravine and ducked into the waterfall, so it would absorb his fall. As soon as he finished, he spots Michael falling straight onto the ground, killing himself by mistake.
** "Let's Play Halo 4: Crimson Map Pack Episode 2". He fires a gun at ''bullet-proof glass'', only stopping once he has to reload, allowing his opponent to kill him.
** A pretty blatant example in ''Let's Play Minecraft'' episode 37. He fails at making a simple jump near the end of the course. Geoff cannot believe what happened.

* GenreSavvy: Often works out what Gavin will try and do, and tries anticipating it.
