Edgar Howard Wright (born 18 April 1974) is a British director known for making stylish, genre-busting films, usually working with Creator/{{Simon Pegg}} and Creator/NickFrost. He is also known for his surprising talent of making films that function equally well as both [[GenreDeconstruction deconstructions]] and [[ChekhovsArmoury carefully crafted]] stories. He is [[OneofUs one of us]], a very notable example of a film geek-come-director a la Creator/QuentinTarantino and Creator/KevinSmith, both of whom he is close friends with.
