* AxCrazy: Most of his villainous characters are like this. Those played for laughs are over the top hilarious, those played for more dramatic and serious works are downright frightening.
* BerserkButton: He became very upset that he didn't get a major role in Animaniacs, so he left Tiny Toons before the end of production. Luckily there were only 4 episodes left.
** Also it's worth noting that many of his characters display this to various degrees.
* BoisterousBruiser: as T-Bone from ''WesternAnimation/SWATKats''.
* TheCameo: His character Starscream has only 2 lines in the 2007 ''Transformers'' movie. And yet, this role brought him much fame.
* ChewingTheScenery
* CrossDressingVoices: As Cow in ''Cow and Chicken'', Bev Bighead in Rocko and numerous others. He also uses his Cow voice whenever Buster Bunny crossdresses, and used it for Gladys the Hippo Lady in "Sand In Your Navel".
* TheDanza: played a recurring character called Mr. Adler in ''WesternAnimation/BeavisAndButthead''. Also played the Adler Tree in ''Cow and Chicken''.
* EvilIsHammy
* EvilLaugh: He does some excellent ones as Mechanicles, Dr. Doom and the Red Guy.
* EvilTwin: He plays Buster Bunny and his evil counterpart Roderick Rat in ''Tiny Toon Adventures''.
* FakeBrit: As Vlad the Russian teacher in ''ShurikenSchool'' and Snively in ''Series/SonicTheHedgehog''.

* LargeHam: Many of his characters tend to be over dramatic as hell.*
* ManOfAThousandVoices: Plays multiple main roles in Cow and Chicken and G.I. Joe: Resolute.
* NoIndoorVoice: Most of his characters tend to do a lot of yelling.
* NonSingingVoice: Subverted in the ''Tiny Toons'' movie where he did the singing for Buster Bunny. However, Buster's yodelling musical number was done by Rob Paulsen.
