-->Nona started as an answer to my own question, "What if [[Literature/HarryPotter Luna Lovegood]] lived in the suburbs... and wasn't a wizard... and didn't have an English accent even though, let's face it, English accents make everything sound brilliant or diabolical... except maybe the poor English characters in MikeLeigh films... Seriously, just watching those doomed characters try to scrape enough shillings to purchase a pen to sign over their house to creditors is absolute torture... Who am I talking to?"

* TabletopGame/{{Monopoly}}: In the March, 17, 2013 Sunday strip, Ted is one who can make the annual Monopoly game "Calvinball with dice" as he has his own token (a scepter), two 20-sided dice and the idea to make the board a giant battleground--or as he called it, "A Parker Brothers Helm's Deep." When Sally asks how they're supposed to do battle, he goes "That's where this bag of Lego minifigs comes in..." as he holds up a plastic baggie of said mini-figurines. (Hillary reminded Ted "Last year you tried to charge us for air rights when we passed over your properties. Be glad this game isn't once a millenium." Which makes one wonder if Ted's not a "Monopoly Munchkin.")

** Sally's friend/coworker Alice is blonde; her daughter is a level-headed redhead (I think), and her son is hyperactive brunette.
