The story will kick off with ''ComicBook/MightyMorphinPowerRangersBoomStudios'' #24 and ''Go Go Power Rangers'' #8 as prologue issues with issues #25 and #9, respectively kicking off the storyline where the two titles alternate. ''Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Annual 2018'' and the Free Comic Book Day 2018 comic will have special stories as well as two unrevealed one-shots. ''WebVideo/PowerRangersHyperforce'' episodes 19 and 20 serves as an additional prequel to the storyline. After the events of the story, a new storyline will start, ''Beyond the Grid'', which will introduce a new Power Rangers lineup.

* AnyoneCanDie: [[spoiler:First issue alone sees the eradication of the Time Force team, except Jen, and Tommy dying at Drakkon's hands. The next issue has all of the Samurai team but Lauren Shiba, and her brother Jayden who wasn't present, falling to Drakkon and his army but it's unclear if they were killed or simply captured. In the annual, Zeo!Tommy and Alpha 6 are also killed. Issue 28 has Coinless Zack killed while rescuing Ninjor and the following issue has Coinless Skull getting his neck snapped for his betrayl.]]

** Shattered Grid #1 starts off with the battle against Drakkon's forces slowly going bad for the Rangers before spoiler:Drakkon ends up succeeding in his goal to enter the Morphin Grid and then proceeds to wipe out all realities]].

* CurbStompBattle: The Samurai Rangers are quickly beaten by a combination of Drakkon's Ranger Sentries wielding extremely powerful weapons and having greater numbers.

The second occurs when the Might Morphin team along with Tommy, Jen, and Lauren use that same Heart to press the Reset Button and restore things to what they were before.]]
