** Lampshahded a few times. Yang points out that while he is dangerous, their insults make him mad and throws him off.

* DumbMuscle: Tends to rely too much on violence to settle his problems even if he does have his moments of clarity. In one episode he magically becomes super big and strong at the cost of becoming even stupider than usual, although RealityEnsues when he realizes that his brain is the same size as before and he has not actually gotten mentally weaker.

A magical talking tree stump, Dave is a low-life and is considered pathetic by his friends. Many times, Dave is often caught in the crossfire of battles or hurt in some way by friend and/or foe. He's considered whiny, talks nonstop about his family of trees, and is never noticed. As discovered in Stuck, Dave has the ability to communicate with and manipulate non sentient plants. This apparently surpasses that of the other characters. He is now a member of Yin and Yang's Woo Foo army.

* TheDragon: To the Night Master in season 1 prior to his HeelFaceTurn.

* TheMole: Acts as a spy for the Night Master.

* EvilIsPetty: It's no exaggeration to say that most of Carl's motivations behind his evil schemes is his own inherant pettiness. This is even how Yin and Yang get him and Herman to end their truce in ''Family Day''.

A mighty Gryphon who is bent on destroying Woo Foo. As revealed in "Welcome To The Dark Tomorrow", he is in fact the first and original Night Master. After his demise (of unknown cause), other beings of darkness took on the mantle of evil he left behind including an unknown snake lady and the bat-creature Yin and Yang faced in season 1. His deceased minions posed as the ghosts of the Woo Foo Elders to manipulate Yang into collecting the items of power needed to revive him. Tricking Yang into throwing the items into the Night Master's fireplace at the stroke of midnight, Eradicus was instantly resurrected.

* BigBad: Season 2.

* SatelliteCharacter: While Carl appears plenty of times without him, it's noteworthy that he ''never'' appears in an episode without Carl making at least a cameo, if not sharing the spotlight. His character is largely defined by comparison with his brother. It's particularly jarring since he's mentioned as having conquered most of the world, and is played up as being a more competent villain overall.

** [[spoiler: This skill ends up being to his detriment in "Upstanding Yuck" when his genuine devotion towards turning his life around is seen as a rouse by Yin and Yang.]]

* SailorFuku: Going along with an embodiment of anime parodies.

* OutofFocus: The season he's introduced he just as quickly gets pushed aside in favor of his sister Smoke taking most of the screentime.
* PunnyName: With sister Smoke, a play on Smoke and Mirrors

* HumongousMecha: Subverted for most of the time, but sometimes displays the ability to grow huge

* CatsAreMean: The only feline villains in the series.

* GreenAndMean: He emits green flames and is one of show's antagonists.

* Foil: He is a dark reflection of Yin and Yang. He has a lot in common with these two being smart, arrogant, prideful, rude, and egotistical. However, unlike the two, he doesn't have family.

* DumbassHasAPoint: When Yin and Yang manage to get into massive credit card debt a mall built around their dojo, with cards Ultimoose gave them while in a PaperThinDisguise, after he reveals the mall was a scheme by the Night Master he reveals his own identity. And then points out the mall and the credit cards were clearly named after him and that it was painfully obvious the whole thing was a trap.

* HarmlessVillain: While he can be genuinely dangerous at times (see FromNobodyToNightmare), Ultimoose absolutely can not compare to Yin, Yang, and Yo in strength and ability as they are leagues above him. He usually has to attempt to out smart them instead, but he isn't any good at that either, as he is a massive idiot.
* HatedByAll: Even the Night Master and all the other villain can't stand Ultimoose.
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: Subverted. While his ButtMonkey status is just as big as Carl's, Ultimoose has fewer sympathetic quilities than the latter. Then you see what Ultimoose would do with true power (again, see FromNobodyToNightmare) and you realise he deserves every bit of his ButtMonkey and his HatedByAll status.

* StarterVillainStays: Ultimoose is the first villain Yin and Yang fought in the series and in said first appearance Master Yo effortless beats him off screen. Despite that, he continues serving the Night Master and fighting Yin & Yang.

* AmbiguousGender: Yuck seems to personally identify as male and uses masculine pronouns but due to being the halves of two opposite sex twins he has what is essentially a Boy Half and a Girl Half as discovered in "Personality Problem". He even uses a bathroom with a question mark on it in his debut episode.
* [[ArrogantKungFuGuy Arrogant Woo Foo Guy]]: He's a power hungry, narcissistic jerk willing to gain power by any means necessary.

* EnergyBall: Is able to devise a ginormous sphere of green energy on one finger not only strong enough implode an entire town but be ''seen from space''.

* CatchphraseInsult: Among his plethora of insults, "dipstick" is the most frequent.

* ManipulativeBastard: Often uses his intellect to scheme his way around potential pawns. In "Falling Yin Love", he [[spoiler: practically woos Yin into falling in love with him through a combination of sheer charisma and the Brett suit disguising him completely.]] Also in "Camp Magic Pants" when he's [[spoiler: able to use the body of the Headmaster to his advantage]] and yet it's shown he still managed to manipulate Terry Otter post reveal.

* MasterActor: Unlike most of the other villains who tend to [[PaperThinDisguise poorly disguise themselves]] on top of just barely being able to trick the twins, Yuck is uncannily good at sticking to a role and hardly ever breaks character.

* NeverMyFault: Rarely ever takes the blame for his failures, especially in "Personality Problem" where he blames Yin and Yang for being on top of their game and towards the end of the episode where he claims his girl half's idea is the reason he lost.

* PintSizedPowerhouse: He's the same size as Yin and Yang and is as deadly, if not moreso, than either of them. Even out of his muscular form, he can support entire trees with one hand and lift statues like it's nothing.
* PlayingWithFire: Is capable of doing the Fists of Fire when he's first made, just to prove how powerful he already was.

Carl, the Evil Cockroach Wizard (who tends to shout out his name as much as possible and always wants to be called Carl [[SpellMyNameWithAThe the]] Evil Cockroach Wizard), continuously schemes to defeat Yin, Yang, Master Yo and the power of the Woo Foo with his insecure genius. He also lives with his overbearing mother Edna, who is a dragon (it makes no sense as to how they are related). Carl is always trying to find a way to impress his mother and out-do his brother Herman. Despite his desire to win his mother's love([[FreudianExcuse or possibly due to his failure to do so]]), Carl is resentful and has talked back (usually under his breath), made her cry, and even put a spell on her.

* HotWitch: Insanity be damned, Saranoia is still a statuesque, curvy sorceress often decked out in fetish costumes varying from sexy pirate with a [[BareYourMidriff midriff exposing top]] and miniskirt to a FrenchMaid in fishnets.

* EvilLawyerJoke: Becomes on in "Game Over".

* [[ArrogantKungFuGuy Arrogant Woo Foo Guy]]: He's a power hungry, narcissistic menace willing to gain power by any means necessary.

* {{Jerkass}}: A rude, selfish, arrogant, menace with a manipulative streak a mile wide.

* MasterOfDisguise: Unlike other villains, he wears some pretty convincing disguises to the point his reveal can be the biggest shocker, normally involving robot suits or [[spoiler: possessing a body.]]

* BrotherChuck: Introduced physically in "Welcome to the Dark Tomorrow" but never seen again.

** When Herman steals a the [[TomeOfEldritchLore Book of]] [[ArtifactOfDoom Forbidden Evil]], Carl teleports Yin and Yang to safety after they steal it back. He doesn't like Yin and Yang but he will take any opportunity to ensure Herman loses.

* MindControl: As demonstrated in "Division Quest", she's able to shoot out strong enough psychic waves to hypnotize multiple people at once.

* OffModel: A brief example but her eyes become purple instead of blue during a few frames in the opening.

* SlapstickKnowsNoGender: Her brother tends to get the bulk of the AmusingInjuries but Yin is just as likely to take a beating for the sake of comedy.

* [[EvilSorcerer Evil Sorceress]]: Trained since youth in the ways of witchcraft.

* CuteBookworm: Yin's downtime is almost always spent with her nose in a book, be it studying or reading a novel.

* LeeroyJenkins: ''And how?'' Yang's blind ambition for combat directly clashes with his sister's more strategic approach. He becomes much more strategic overtime but his recklessness otherwise proves to be a major FatalFlaw.

* CatchPhrase: His full name.

* PositiveDiscrimination: Although usually presented as the voice of reason compared to her brother and a bit more moral, she's prone to her own mistakes and being a ButtMonkey while Yang has some HiddenDepths to keep it more balanced.

* WhyDontYouJustShootHim: The reason he didn't kill Yin and Yang a long time ago because he feared Master Yo would train another group of Woo Foo warriors that would be more competent than the two and he was waiting for the right moment to kill them and Yo at the same time. He maybe right that the two are incompetent, but he underesimated them and their allies.

* TheDogBitesBack: Since Herman beats Carl at every opportunity, Carl will take the chance to rub any of Herman's failures in his face, especially in light how his alergy to Master Yo's hair can easily ruin his plans.

** Herman forces Carl to make a potion that will protect him from his panda alergies. Said potion simply created a clothespin on Herman's nose, which Yin removed. As Carl pointed out, Herman should have known Carl would do a lousy job after how much Herman abused him.

* SimpleStaff: Will sometimes wield a bamboo staff for more hands-on fights as seen in "The Trouble with Two-ni-corns." It's used much more frequently in the first season until she relied fully on her magical abilities.
