* WomenAreWiser: Part of the reason she is second-in-command is because she comes off as more intelligent than most of Skeletor's minions, like Beastman.

* SmittenTeenageGirl: Like in canon, Adora is really bad at hiding when she is attracted to someone. She practically drools over the Sorceress when they first meet.

* HeadbuttingHeroes: He and Bow ''do not'' get along. At first it's because of Bow's low tolerance for Adam's [[TheGadfly attitude]], but then he starts insulting King Randor and the two just can't stand each other.

The son of King Randor and the hero known to Eternia as He-Man.

* OlderThanTheyLook: You wouldn't know it by looking at him, but flashbacks confirm that he's around 74 years old.

* OldSoldier: He's older than all the Force Captains currently under Hordak since he originally served him fifty years ago during his attempted invasion of Eternia.

* CasanovaWannabe: One of the first things he does when he wakes up after being unconscious is try and flirt with Adora. Though to be fair, Adora has no interest in men what-so-ever. He also gives up flirting with her immediately after finding out she's gay. This trope ends up being {{subverted|trope}} when he flirts with [[spoiler:the Etherian princesses]], as his charm works on them to the point where [[spoiler:Perfuma and Mermista]] start fighting over him and [[spoiler:Frosta]] can't do anything but stutter and faint.

* CovertPervert: Beneath her demeanor, she can be pretty lustful. She tends to oogle any attractive woman that strikes her fancy and privately spends her time in the Holo-Suite being entertained by a scantily clad hologram of Spinnerella.

* NoodleIncident: He never explains the events that led to his banishment, and Adam doesn't pry. [[spoiler: He eventually tells the whole story to Shadow Weaver in Chapter 22.]]

* AdaptationalVillainy: He is easily more villainous than most versions. Let's just say the sadistically trying to kill off infant Adora is among one of this version's more heinous attributes that make him much worse than the original.
