* TheComplainerIsAlwaysWrong: OL views him as this most of the time, especially on the mole topic. Red Arrow is [[RightForTheWrongReasons actually right]], but [[spoiler:HE'S the mole on the team. The real Speedy has been under Cadmus lockdown for most of his career]].

* HearingVoices: She admits that she's been hearing voices [[spoiler:from the Star Sapphire]] in ''Hoard''. Paul is rightfully worried, considering [[spoiler:she starts to try and force him to love her through a spell afterwards]].

* TheBusCameBack: Match is eventually healed in the Paragon timeline in ''Angelic''.

* {{Foil}}: Is far more naive than his brother due to his inexperience living and lack of education. Although he has less emotional issues than Superboy due to never being taught to look up to Superman.

* NearlyNormalAnimal: As he said himself, he's a tiger with human-level intelligence not a human in tiger's skin. He still has tiger-based instincts and emotions. With the ring translating for him, Tawny can't actually speak.
* TalkingAnimal: Averted, he is physically incapable of speaking due to having no lips and the wrong mouth for it. That might change though...

* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Her name is spelled slightly different from the local Kara, but it doesn't sound different when said out loud.

* CloningBlues: For a while, he's depressed about not being the [[spoiler:"real Roy"]]. Thankfully, he gets over it in the Paragon timeline [[spoiler:after the original is rescued. The two actually seem to get along with no problem]].

* BatmanGrabsAGun: Being Batman's sidekick, he normally doesn't need one. In the Paragon timeline, he uses one that fires lasers against zombies.

* TheDreaded: As a Thaumavore, Cornwall Boy is actually this to Atlanteans, as they have ghost stories of monsters with this [[MagicEater ability]].

* MundaneUtility: Used the Sword of Beowulf... [[NotTheIntendedUse as a way to recharge his powers on the go]].

* BoobsOfSteel: She has the biggest bust among the members of the Team and is their toughest female fighter.

* TheFriendsWhoNeverHang: Outside of the Garrick experiments, he is the friend OL spend the least time with in both timelines. Early on, OL is often a little embarrassed by his unrestrained flirting with female characters, especially older ones like Black Canary and Firebrand II.

* BizarreSexualDimorphism: This is the reason to why she goes out of her way to look and act human. Her true White Martian form doesnt look anything close to human, much less traditionally feminine.

* ForeignQueasine: Canis has his own turn as TeamChef like everyone else, with less than stellar results. Not only is Apokalyptian cusine not exactly a crowd pleaser, he originally wanted to hold a battle royal to decide who deserved to be fed.

* TokenEvilTeammate: Canis is not a DefectorFromDecadence like Barda, and could not care less about humanity or Earth in general. He's just not a megalomaniac sadist like most of Darkseid's elite, his love for art means he prefers having civilization around instead of burning it all down ForTheEvulz, and his sense of hiearchy means he'll follow the orders of Kaldur, OL and the Justice League.

* KlingonsLoveShakespeare: Was located by OL and the Team admiring the works in the Louvre. [[MadArtist Which he was also trying to destroy, as part of some convoluted statement about the absurd beauty of destruction.]]

** Renegade M'gann, as a Red Martian, loses her species' phobia of fire and loses the stigma of being a White Martian while gaining a considerable power boost.
** After being confronted with her Martian heritage in J'onn J'aarkn, [[spoiler:the captive Burning Martian, and Mistress Martian]], Paragon M'gann comes out as a White Martian. She even changes her skin color and hair to showcase her new found acceptance.

** The Renegade version dates Celestial Archer for some time. [[spoiler:She breaks up with him after returning from the Land of Summer's End, due to her experiences living for centuries in the distant future making it almost impossible to relate to him romantically.]]

* GeometricMagic: Zatanna creates a triquetra whenever she uses Order magic.

* JustFriends: Paul firmly tells that he has no interest in her and she's too young for him. In the Renegade timeline, due to finding out the Renegade's real age, she accepts it. Paragon Zatanna is still interested in him.
