* BeyondRedemption: Iruma had every intention to bring him back when he sees him again, but Kiriwo already knows he's too far gone to return. Because of this, he remains with Baal and the Six Fingers.

* BigSisterInstinct: Regardless of [[AmbiguouslyEvil the ambiguity of why she's a Finger]], ever since she met and spent the day with Iruma, she grew to care for and cherish him like he's genuinely her little brother, and she utterly refuses to let any harm come to him, even if that means defying Wett's orders. She fully acts on this in chapter 261 when she arrives in time to stop Atori from kidnapping Iruma.

She fully acts on this in chapter 261 when she arrives in time to stop Atori from kidnapping Iruma. She was going to act on this when Mephisto made himself too suspicious to Iruma and demands to know who he is first before backing down.

* TheBusCameBack: She returns in chapter 220 due to infiltrating Babylis under the guise of a new teacher alongside Atori.

* IChooseToStay: Rather than running off with Poro when Atori's BloodKnight personality gets the best of him, she stays behind despite being a prime suspect, and Sullivan gives her a DeathGlare even though she's saved his grandson, whom Baal ordered them to kidnap if HeKnowsTooMuch.

** He also acts this way towards [[ShelteredAristocrat Shura]] after his EngineeredHeroics at the Deviculum. She was [[RescueRomance quite taken with him]] after he apparently protected her, and as a result she began inviting him to tea parties at least once a week. Meanwhile, Baal might not exactly ''dislike'' Shura, but he finds her chatter so exhausting that Kiriwo suggests he might be heading for a Wicked Phase. [[CampGay Poro]] outright says that Baal's face is the only thing he has going for the PrinceCharming image they're projecting; Poro is the one who needs to select Baal's outfits, the cologne he wears, and even the ''conversation topics'' he brings to the table.

* FauxAffablyEvil: To compliment his [[FaceOfAnAngelMindOfADemon cute and non-threatening looks and mannerisms]], he has a calm and soft-spoken voice that he almost never deviates from, alongside having a disarmingly friendly and cheery attitude. This just makes it all the more unnerving when he starts talking about his [[NightmareFetishist despair fetish]] to people and engages in numerous {{Breaking Speech}}es, because he does all of that without ever raising his voice or acting aggressive.

Each time he decides to reveal his true self, including to the audience, TheGlassesComeOff and he shows off his natural psychotic gaze that is very much not cute.

Baal goes from being just another 13 Crown senior member up to second-in-command behind the Three Greats. Basically, he now has the same status as the 13 Crown second-in-command, Belzebuth.

* VillainWithGoodPublicity: He already was this by being one of the 13 Crowns that supposedly watches over and protects the demon world while hiding the fact that he's been causing chaos behind the scenes. The part that kind of throws this off is that almost everyone could tell that he's the {{Jerkass}} of the 13 Crowns, but the other Crowns put up with it believing that his efforts have been for the better of the demon world. Eventually, Baal ''really'' shoots up to this status due to the EngineeredHeroics stunt that he pulled during the Masquerade Ball Deviculum where he's now looked at as the "hero" that put an end to Behemolt's rampage. Especially regarding the fact that he gained the respect and backing of Shura, a deity of the netherworld.

* VillainousCrush: Atori seems to have one on Balam. After Balam is done asking Atori and Shiida some questions Atori tells Shiida how excited he felt because he felt so threatened by Balam. When Atori fights Balam later in the heartbreaker arc he talks about happy he is while he starts to blush heavily. When Atori stalls Balam using his web power so he can escape he blows the webbing at Balam in the same manner as blowing a kiss.

* YouHaveFailedMe: DoubleSubverted. He was clearly pissed that Atori went crazy, and nearly jeopardized his mission with Shiida, as well as Returning to Origins during a school event rather than keeping a low profile like he was ordered to. But at the same time, Atori returned with Iruma's reference sheet, which had Delkira's mana, and so this change of plans shifted to Baal focus his attention on Iruma and his EngineeredHeroics.

* EngineeredHeroics: Baal has Behemolt released at the Deviculum so that he'll rampage at the revelation the other Thirteen Crowns called to replace him, then strike Behemolt down himself once he proves unstoppable. Iruma and Asmodeus [[SpannerInTheWorks nearly put a dent in that plan]] by trying to, and likely would have succeeded at, take down Behemolt themselves after he nearly attacked Shura, but are stopped by a disguised Kiriwo blocking their attack, allowing Baal to swoop in and put Behemolt down as planned, right in view of the deities while Maemoro, Atori, and Miki, all disguised amidst the guests, call for Baal to be the new Demon King.

This likewise makes Shura smitten with him, and causes her to openly declare he has her support, making him untouchable even by the Three Greats.

In actuality, it turned out to be an enjoyable experience rather than an unpleasant one as the moment where Kiriwo realized that he loves being an evil demon that brings others to despair.

* MaskOfSanity: He hides his darker tendencies quiet well once he enters Babyls. While he doesn't advance much in rank, he is very much beneath suspcion as any threat to the school. However, when it's just him and Iruma and he is minutes away from achieving his goal of blowing up the school, he pushes Iruma down with a deranged look on his face exclaiming about the exstacy he will soon feel from all the depair both in the lose of life and in the parents coming to find their children's corpses. It is this moment that reminds Iruma no matter how much he might look like those around him, they are demons and some are truly dangerous creatures.

* MirrorCharacter: To Iruma. Both have been abused by their biological parents, were shunned and eventually abandoned by them, are incredibly weak magically with their only natural strength being defensive actions; Kiriwo using barriers while Iruma dodges things. Both have magical tools which allow them greater access to magical abilities thanks to the magic of an adoptive figure in their lives; Iruma possessing the Ring of Gluttony imbued by his grandfather's power, and after his escape from Walter Park Baal had a ring-shaped tag made for Kiriwo and imbued with his own power. But whereas Iruma wants to make the Demon World a better, happier place like Bablys and is a HopeBringer to many close to him, Kiriwo is a HopeCrusher who seeks to destroy the stability of the Demon World and make it a chaotic nightmare.
