That's not what a Crutch Character is—that trope is about a character who's extremely powerful early on but falls off later on. Valkyr and Xaku can both be effective even in high-level content.

* CrutchCharacter: While not in a sense of being a straight-up main use, Valkyr's increased armor encourages players to make up different builds to compensate her lack of shielding, particularly the "QT-R" buildsQuick Thinking and Rage mods, ensuring that further builds after Valkyr would become straight Health-Armor improvements instead of shields.

* CrutchCharacter: Of a sort -- building Xaku requires maxing out one's rank with Solaris United in order to access the Vox Solaris bounties that offer Gravimag Systems as rewards, which can take fair amount of grinding. Once built, though, Xaku's PowerOfTheVoid abilities can make fighting Sentients significantly easier, making completing the early parts of the Second Dream and Lua significantly easier.

Both have a balance of personal survivability and mass crowd control elements, but Ember has greater nuke potential while Nezha has increased mobility and baseline party support. Their augments work to make them meet in the middle; Ember's augments give her supportive aspects of Nezha's toolkit (energy orb creation, healing, and status reduction), while Nezha's give his toolkit offensive aspects of Ember's (increased damage and wide-area status affliction).

His parts were moved to Railjack missions.

* RareRandomDrop: The blueprints for Oberon's individual components are a 1% drop from Eximus enemies. However, this is downplayed, as Endless missions and certain Sorties can fill maps with Eximus enemies, making them trivial to acquire.

changed to present tense because a Volt who is min-maxed around his fourth ability can still clear whole maptiles with a single button press. he's a popular choice to use in SO and ESO for that reason, alongside other nukers like Saryn.

Mag is DPS and CC, not support. this is even factoring in her fourth ability which can add overshields onto her allies. Volt has greater utility value with both his speed and shield abilities, whereas Mag's toolkit is almost completely dedicated towards armour stripping, crowd control and damage augmentation with Magnify.

* MagicKnight: While ostensibly a caster with his Shock attack, his Speed ability greatly enhances mobility and melee damage while his Electric Shield can be picked up to create a mobile ramming shield to supplement his low defenses. Amongst the starter Warframes in particular, his abilities offer the most compromise between the melee-heavy Excalibur and the more support- and CC-focused Mag.
