An upcoming Syndicate that will appear in the upcoming Venus open-world. We don't know much about them, other than the fact that they have some involvement with the Solar Rails.
* EarlyBirdCameo: One of their agents appears in the ongoing Warframe comic, deployed against Captain Vor's grineer army.

Once, the Orokin ruled the Origin System, a race of seemingly immaculate posthuman immortals armed with advanced technology that has yet to be replicated. They led humanity in what was seemingly a GoldenAge, in an era of science, reason, and [[AbusivePrecursors things we're better off not mentioning]] as rulers of the System. Now long-vanished, the only living remnants of them seem to be the guardians of the Orokin structures in the Void: strange towers inhabited and defended by "Corrupted". * AlienLunch: In case it wasn't clear, they harvest blubber from an ''ancient tower.'''' They also eat caviar harvested from abyssal plains, snail spawn that is apparently also consumed by the likes of Nef Anyo, Frohd Bek, and other members of the Corpus elite, and mutated fish harvested straight from the Plains nearby. They even nibble ''termite crap'', though in that last case they only do it as a survival tactic.

* DrinkOrder: The Ostrons have a few drinks they like to brew.
** Chimurr is a liquor that is made from boiled water poured into a gourd filled with local leaves, then brewed as a drink. Giving it to guests symbolizes union and friendship among the Ostrons.
** Harpu is Chimurr that's had a local butter variety melted into the brew that is ''always'' served hot. Ostrons will also pack it with salt and flour, and it's one of the things hawked in Cetus' marketplace.
** Daku Liquor is a liquor that is extremely sought-after by offworld traders. It's made from a paste excreted by a lowlands marsupial after it's eaten a unique variety of nuts, meaning that yes, it's brewed from animal dung.[[note]]This isn't uncommon in real life, either: The most expensive coffee varieties are made from coffee beans that have been eaten and pooped out by monkeys.[[/note]]
** Kubuchi is a cheap ale that's brewed from fermented [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sorghum sorghum grain.]] Offworlders like to drink it since they think it makes them locals, but Ostrons actually ''hate'' the stuff, to the point that they wouldn't be caught ''dead'' drinking it in public. Nakak notes that it tastes like hot garbage, and Ostrons consider any Offworlders who drink it publicly to be greenhorns and "easy marks".
** Wine is pretty much the same here as it always has been, though the Ostrons mix something into it (possibly Temple Kuva) that allows them to imbue it with the "etheric signature" of a person someone wants to be rid of. Hawkers in the markets use the phrase, "Drink them in the evening, and expel them by morning!" to describe how that works while hawking the stuff.
** Yoong-bat is a drink left for travelling monks. Not much else is known about it, but it's forbidden for anyone other than monks to drink the stuff.
