* VillainWithGoodPublicityVillainWithGoodPublicity: Initially he's praised for his [[FauxAffably seemingly]] genuine polite nature, elegant appearance, and talent in spite of working for the [=DMP=]. This gets averted as his true nature begins to show, especially [[WouldHarmAChild he hits a child]], causing the crowd to turn against him.

Added DiffLines:

* WakeUpCallBoss: While the previous enemies of the sequel, were mildly difficult, they had one gimmick that could be overcome and often lost due to humiliating weaknesses being exploited for Mantaro to defeat them with ease. Check Mate proved to be the first enemy to be genuinely skilled with a variety of techniques and dominated him for the majority of the fight, forcing Mantaro to go all out to defeat him. Enemies following him would be increasingly difficult to defeat.
