* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: His defeat at Viole's hands did a number on his pride, and his experiences with D-rank Regulars doesn't seem to be helping much in this regard.
* ArchEnemy: Considers Maschenny this, after fighting with her when he was younger and losing. Considers killing her as his final goal when he becomes a Ranker.
* BadassAdorable: The small and cute member of the Great Koon Family. Ran was able to defeat Novick, and fought evenly with Anak during the Workshop Battle.
* TheBigGuy: Despite his small stature, he's the strongest fighter out of Team Koon, and was one of the top 5 E-rank Regulars before becoming D-rank.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: Borderline example. He is obnoxious, spoiled and quite childish at times (he destroyed Aguero's Lighthouse during a mission), yet when he gets serious he is a force to be reckoned with.

* GlassCannon: Relies on his extremely potent attack power and ability to dodge blows most of the time. Doesn't fare that well when he does get hit himself. Worse, because he relies on hit-and-dodge, others can easily bait or herd him into traps if they can take it for a while.
* HotBlooded: Doesn't look like it. Doesn't sound like it. Usually doesn't act like it (unless provoked). But, [[BloodKnight going off pop]] and [[LeeroyJenkins rushing into dangerous situations half-cocked]] is his speciality.
* IAmNotLeftHanded: Despite being a Fisherman, Ran's Spear Bearer position is ranked higher than his Fisherman position due to his powerful Lightning Spear techniques, which are extremely powerful for his level. This made him possibly the best Spear Bearer of all the E-rank Regulars.
* IdiotBall: When he gets impatient, he tends to get stupid.
* JerkAss: He is extremely arrogant, and seems to possess next to none social skills.

* SpotlightStealingSquad: Compared to many other Regulars since his introduction, Ran has been involved in a majority of the fights. Especially after the Team Novick support team has been established.

* SuperMode: Redan, which he activates by concentrating shinsoo into one baang then swallowing it. This greatly augments his fighting powers, but after 5 minutes, [[HeroicRROD he will collapse]].

He is also the de-facto leader of the team, and a minion of Poken, who is in turn, a minion of the FUG Slayer, Karaka. For his powers, the weapon Reflejo wields is a giant canary.scythe, and he's inherited a piece of Ranker Poken's shadow, which allows for Reflejo to use a fraction of a Ranker's power to temporarily reach a strength-level as high as a B-rank Regular.

During the Workshop Battle, Reflejo starts off working under Viole as the team's gambler for the tournament's 1st Round. Afterwards, Reflejo works alongside Beta to trap Viole in the Thorn room in an attempt to melt the Slayer Candidate into becoming a powerful ignition weapon with the Irregular status that would be used by the higher-ups of FUG. As a result, Reflejo takes control of the FUG Team away from Viole, and fights against the Slayer Candidate's companions until the weapon is complete. He is also the de-facto leader of the team, and a minion of Poken, who is described as "cold and violent". Blarode was considered one in turn, a minion of the top-5 E-Rank Regulars FUG Slayer, Karaka.
