Another alternative version of Marisa Kirisame. This one is seen in the Hifuu Lost Word story line, You of the End. In this Marisa's world, Magic itself was sealed away due to being that world's Lost Word, and with their powers gone and most youkai dead, the remaining survivors, Marisa included, fight a desperate war against the Lunarians, the only beings to retain their power, using reverse-engineered technology.

Yet another alternative version of Marisa Kirisame. Just like the Eternal Shrine Maiden (Scarlet), she doesn't appear in the story itself, but lore has it that she and her Reimu failed to resolve the Scarlet Mist incident and are still in training. Just like Eternal Shrine Maiden (Scarlet), She's a unit based on a character's retro appearance. In this case, she's based on Marisa's appearance in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.

* JackOfAllStats: In comparison to other Ultra Festival units, the Witch of Scarlet Dreams doesn't particularly specialize in any one area. In turn, she has a wide range of uses. She still does good damage, but she doesn't hit as hard as other Ultra Festival units. In turn, though, she also comes with a good range of support capabilities, including Burning enemy barriers, reducing enemy evasion and having good overall elemental breaks. She's also deceptively tough to bring down too, thanks to one of her skills allowing her to restore a barrier to herself, letting her use Graze more.

* AchillesHeel: Since she relies heavily on freezing and poisoning her barriers, any enemy that can break these two anomaly types spells very bad news for Yuyuko.

* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: As a usable character, she focuses on inflicting herself with Freeze and Poison Barriers to gain buffs.

This Marisa lacks her signature ability to use magic, but instead she's armed to the teeth with technological weapons that help her replicate, if not surpass, her usual abilities.
----
* AttackDrone: She operates these as a part of her Last Word, Remote Master Sparks.
* BFG: Oh yeah. That big cannon she's carrying? That's her mini-hakkero. It can switch between cannon and machine gun modes for her spell cards.
* MacrossMissileMassacre: Her spell card Love Sign "Machine Gun Spark" is this, firing off a barrage of missiles and star bullets.
* WaveMotionGun: Love Sign "Wide Master" is this Marisa's answer to the Master Spark (based off of a spell card canonically seen in Impossible Spell Card, no less).

An alternative version of Reimu Hakurei. While she doesn't appear in the story itself, and is a unit based on Reimu's appearance in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, there are a few hints that this Reimu isn't quite the one from that game. Most notably in her descriptions, it's noted that in the world this Reimu hails from, She and her Marisa actually failed to resolve the Scarlet Mist incident, and thus their Gensokyo is still blanketed in scarlet mist. Thus, she and her Marisa can still be considered in training, as her spell cards are experimental, unfinished versions of the ones that the mainline Reimu herself uses.\\\

She's the first unit on this page to not be an Ultra Festival Unit.
----
* JackOfAllStats: She doesn't have any real weaknesses. Even though her bulk is inferior to her mainline self she's not fragile by any means, and she hits rather hard too. She's also got some nice team support. In essence, she does a little bit of everything.
* MythologyGag: Her entire existence is one, right down to her design. This is essentially Reimu as she appeared in VideoGame/TouhouKoumakyouTheEmbodimentOfScarletDevil. Even her Spell Cards, Experimental Fantasy Seal and Experimental Sealing Circle, are references to EoSD. Only her Last Word, Experimental Fantasy Nature, can be considered an 'original' spell.
* SuperPrototype: In spite of her relative inexperience compared to the mainline Reimu, her experimental spells hit a hell of a lot harder than mainline Reimu's do, though in turn she's not got nearly as much defensive prowess.

Like the Eternal Shrine Maiden (Scarlet), she's not an Ultra Festival Unit.
----
* CriticalHitClass: This Marisa is all about taking advantage of the innate killer (Always crits against a specified type of enemy) class of bullets that some attacks have. Her spell cards and Last Word all have Youkai and Ghost-Killer (Which is very good as most Touhou characters are youkai and ghosts make up a fair number of the ones who aren't), but she can also inflict Crit Def down (Critical hits do more damage to affected targets) on all enemies, making her combo very well with other Crit or Killer-centric characters, such as Toyohime (who possesses the rare and devastating Gensokyo-Killer on her Last Word), which means she brings both utility and damage to teams focusing on that.
* MythologyGag: Her entire existence is one, right down to her design. This is essentially Marisa as she appeared in VideoGame/TouhouKoumakyouTheEmbodimentOfScarletDevil. Even her Spell Cards, Stardust Reverie and Proto-Spark, are references to EoSD. Only her last word, Prototype- Blazing Star can be considered an 'original' spell.
* StarPower: Marisa's first spell card, Magic Sign: Stardust Reverie is this, shooting out an omnidirectional barrage of stars.
* SuperPrototype: More blatant with her than Reimu, as the mainline Marisa was a very unfortunate victim of power creep. She blows her mainline self out of the water in both raw offensive might and team utility. She even lampshades it with her pre-cast dialogue for Proto-Spark.
--> Marisa: Sometimes the prototype is more effective. It's not that unusual, right?
* WaveMotionGun: Love Sign: Proto-Spark is essentially the EoSD version of Master Spark.

An alternative version of Yuyuko Saigyouji seen in Chapter 3. Unlike the original Yuyuko, who is a glutton beyond compare, this Yuyuko actually serves the role of chef, cooking meals for those who wind up at the Hakugyoku arena- meals that may very well be their last. She also serves as one of the two people who run the Hakugyoku arena, alongside her world's version of Youmu.\\\

Don't let her childish appearance fool you though, this Yuyuko is every bit as clever as her mainline self.
----
* FunSize: This Yuyuko is absolutely tiny (It's kinda in the name). For reference, the mainline Yuyuko is about on par with Yukari in terms of height. If we use this Yuyuko's artwork as any indication, she's as short as, or possibly even shorter than Cirno. To quote the protagonists:
Reimu, Marisa and Sakuya: S-so small?!
* MakingASplash: The only type of Elemental Breaks on her attacks are Water breaks.
* MesACrowd: Her Last Word, Saigyou Making A Human Figure At Mt. Koya, involves her creating four clones of herself through incense (somehow) to strike the enemy.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: With all being said, She's just as powerful as her mainline counterpart, if not moreso, showcasing several abilities that her mainline counterpart never used, such as the ability to create clones of herself.

An alternative version of Marisa Kirisame seen and mentioned in Chapter 2. She made a deal with an unknown entity to gain power to stand on par with Reimu, but this came at the cost of her Reimu disappearing and her name being sealed away, becoming the Lost Word for the chapter. After giving her world's Flandre a crystal containing her memories, she locked herself away inside the Scarlet Devil Tower for a thousand years, awaiting the day Reimu would return.

According to her own special event, she's a bit more honest and less of a kleptomaniac than the mainline Marisa, but no less dedicated to raw power.

She's also the game's first Ultra Festival unit, a powerful unit that requires Divine Paper Dolls to Limit Break.
----
* ApocalypseHow: Amongst other things during her 1000 year containment, the Witch of Scarlet Dreams was trying to keep her power in check, and it's hinted that were she to lose control, this would happen by virtue of her essentially going supernova, taking the earth and the moon with her.
* PlayingWithFire: Her Hakkero Fire Spread Shot and Red Side: Alter Spark Spell Card have Fire Element breaks attached to them. Additionally, both Red Side: Alter Spark and Supergiant: Antares inflict the Burn status on enemy barriers.
* RammingAlwaysWorks: Her Last Word, Garnet Star, is essentially a flaming version of Marisa's Blazing Star. Needless to say, it's definitely this.
* SayMyName: Reimu does this in the climactic battle of Chapter 2, announcing the Witch of Scarlet Dreams' name, resolving the Lost Word incident in the process.
--> Reimu: I won't let you fall... Marisa Kirisame!
* WaveMotionGun: Red Side: Alter Spark is this Marisa's variation on the Master Spark.

An alternative version of Youmu Konpaku seen in Chapter 3. Until coming into the service of her world's Yuyuko, she had no master. As one of the two running the Hakugyoku Arena, she enforces its rules. This includes the penalty for losing fights during The Hour: namely, severing the losers' souls and using them as fuel to ensure the Saigyou Ayakashi does not awaken and destroy the world.

She's a bit more serious than the mainline Youmu, but no less loyal to Yuyuko.
----
* AbsurdlySharpBlade: Her Roukanken and Hakurouken, of course. She uses them to sever the souls of combatants who lose fights during The Hour. And that's not even going into her spell cards.
* ApologeticAttacker: As she moves to sever Marisa's soul, she apologizes to Marisa for what she's about to do.
-->Youmu: Now then-- I'm sorry!
* FusionDance: Not in the traditional sense, but rather her swords, during her Last Word, Combined Sword: Cherry Blossom in Full Bloom.
* PlayingWithFire: Her Origin Mystery: Souhaya-Roukanken spell card has her engulf the Roukanken with flames and launch it at the opponent before it returns to her hand.
* ShockAndAwe: Her Origin Mystery: Raikiri-Hakurouken spell card has her summon lightning and then cut through it to attack.
* WorthyOpponent: She says as much to Marisa before severing her soul.
--> Marisa: How about it, Youmu?! I think you got a pretty good taste of how determined I am!\\
Youmu: I most certainly did. Your resolve is unyielding.
