Most supernaturals are harmless unless their rumors are corrupted and many are actually friendly and even cute. Tsukasa, however, is Hanako's EvilTwin who grants wishes to supernaturals in the worst possible way just for the sake of causing chaos and suffering for his own amusement. His actions throughout the rest of the series just keep showing how evil and sadistic he is.

A supernatural created from Tsukasa mixing several lesser supernatural together with a fragment of the original Mitsuba's soul. Although this Mitsuba's personality and behavior are basically the same as the original's, it's clearly stated he's a different being and should be considered a separate existence from the original Mitsuba. Tsukasa forces him to eat the remains of the School Mystery No.3, thus turning him into the new representative of the 3rd School Mystery.

* MasterOfThreads: After becoming the Mystery No.3, Mitsuba wears an exoskeleton-like scarf that resembles an extra pair of arms and he uses them as an extension of himself.
* MinionWithAnFInEvil: He's technically Tsukasa's minion, but isn't evil nor brave enough to do anything villainous without Tsukasa threatening him.

* ScarfOfAsskicking: He wears a scarf like the original Mitsuba, but this Mitsuba steals the power of a school mystery and becomes more powerful as a result. The scarf can transform into two spines with ribs, giving Mistuba an extra pair of arms.
* SoulFragment: He was created from the small essence of the original Mitsuba's soul that Tsukasa stole. He has the original Mitsuba's appearance and personality, but lacks his memories and it's repeatedly stated he should be considered a different person from the Mitsuba who was human.

Mitsuba (ミツバ), real name Sousuke Mitsuba (三葉惣助) is a ghost haunting Kamome Academy Middle School's lockers. He was a student at Kamome Academy's Middle School division and a member of the photography club before his death.

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He's very smug and harsh to others, but inside is very lonely and has trust issues. Kou even tells him he doesn't mind his cocky attitude.

* YourHeartsDesire: She can grant deepest wishes by trapping people inside her paintings, and the only way to escape is by destroying their materialized wishes. Still, Kou treats him as he was the same Mitsuba he knew and wants to help him after failing to save him once. Mitsuba is conflicted about this because he does want to be friends with Kou, but he's afraid Kou only really cares about the Mitsuba from the past and would have been happier if Tsukasa had never made him. It's not until Kou meets Mitsuba's mother in Chapter 74 that he accepts that the original Mitsuba is gone and the one in Tsukasa's group is a copy.

* {{Tsundere}}: Much like the original Mitsuba, he never gets tired of insulting Kou and making him annoyed. Deep down, he wants to be Kou's friend just like his previous self.
