Badass Mustache and Badass Beard are being merged into Manly Facial Hair. Examples that don't fit or are zero-context are removed. To qualify for Manly Facial Hair, the facial hair must be associated with masculinity in some way. Please read the trope description before readding to make sure the example qualifies.

* BadassBeard: Part of his disguise in the series. Necessary as the Egyptians have agents and diplomats in just about all major cities in the Great Green who would likely recognize him given they frequented the Royal Palace when in Egypt.

Not So Different has been renamed, and it needs to be dewicked/moved

* NotSoDifferent: Says this to Andromache in her interactions with her. Both were royal priestesses of Thera that were married off to Trojan royalty (Priam for Hekabe, Hektor for Andromache) as part of arranged marriages, both having a proud and haughty attitude that rubbed up against the expected gender norms of their day but makes them appealing to the loves of their lives. Hekabe however revels in the knife-and-dagger politics of Troy while Andromache tries to stay out and usually only gets involved when it's a question of personal survival.

Both sacked the city of Dardanos but Kolanos largely did on it his own volition while Menados was JustFollowingOrders that were given to him directly by Agamemnon. Kolanos went out of his way to recruit pirates and criminals to be members of his crew and encouraged tactics such as RapePillageAndBurn while Mendados had his men assigned to him and he gave express orders for his men to only target soldiers and the Royal family when attacking Dardanos. In addition when they both found themselves at the mercy of Helikaon, Kolanos tried to sell out his own men to save his skin while Menados was ready to die alongside them.

* HonorBeforeReason: He has elements of this but to a much lesser degree than just about all other characters in the series. The reason he agrees to his fateful duel with Hektor isn't because his honor would be diminished if he refused but because Agamemnon and Odysseus have promised to let the women and children of Troy, except the royal family, safely leave the city and be escorted to neutral kingdoms.
* KnightInShiningArmor: The Bronze Age equivalent of one if there ever was one. He's far and away the most heroic character on either side of the conflict and even leads the elite Trojan Horse.

* TheLoinsSleepTonight: An injury Hektor received in battle sometime before the series has left him unable to have sex. This causes no end of problems for him and Andromache when she reveals to him she's pregnant with Helikaon's child and how they'll explain that to Priam.

* WithGreatPowerComesGreatResponsibility: His driving motivation. He believes as the crown prince of Troy, and it's presumed future king, he needs to devote himself to his kingdom's protection and continued safety. This is mainly why he leads the Trojan Horse in so many foreign wars at his father's command even though he himself doesn't care for war. Even thinking that as a prince he forfeits the right to marry for love as marriages for royals should be about advancing his kingdom's interests/safety.

Helikaon had earlier in the war, at Hektor's urging, spared Menados' life after had been captured following his sack of Dardania's capital that saw Halysia killed.
