** [[spoiler:In comparison to the Demon King and Estarossa, Zeldris, while stern and even abrasive, grumbling at certain occasions over the incompetence of his comrades, at least understands and appreciates loyalty and camaraderie. He was visibly angered when Melascula was apparently killed by Ban and would have attacked him before Estarossa beat him to the punch, and despite later admitting he held little love for Estarossa as a brother, he tried to save him from Escanor, showing he won't allow negative feelings towards his fellows to stop him from helping them out if they need it. He was also ''appealed'' when Estarossa suggested murdering the other 10 Commandments if they refuse to hand over their Commandment, as they ''are'' loyal to the Demon Clan, so their objection would be understandable as Meliodas has betrayed the Demon Clan before and only returned due to wanting to break his and Elizabeth's curses. * WorfHadTheFlu: [[spoiler:Despite being feared by Diane for being the Demon King's representative and regarded constantly as the strongest of the 10 Commandments, he is rendered utterly helpless before Meliodas when he returns to full power to demonstrate how Meliodas at his prime is truly the strongest demon barring the Demon King. That said, it should be noted at this time Zeldris did not expect that Meliodas had returned to his full power and by the time he realized it, he's in a state of blind rage, which kept him from using the full extent of his abilities, and he fares a lot better when pitted against Mael and Escanor, roughing up the Angel of Death, who is specifically stated to possess power comparable to Meliodas, pretty badly. The fact that Meliodas chose not to prolong the fight with him and instead decided to go for the road of convincing him by telling him about Gelda seems to indicate he too realized Zeldris could have posed a considerable challenge to him if he was given the time and chance to truly put up a fight against him.]]

!Vampire Clan

Long ago, the Vampire Clan served as vassals of the Demon Clan via a treaty. However, that treaty was broken and as punishment, the clan was sealed away in a sarcophagus. 12 years prior to the story though, they were mysteriously freed and took over the entire kingdom of Edinburgh, with the entire populace either massacred or turned into vampires. Led by the Vampire King, they intended to conquer Liones and beyond. Seeing the threat, the Seven Deadly Sins were sent to deal with them.

The vampires and the entire Edinburgh incident have been mentioned in passing occasionally in the series proper. The entire incident though is detailed in a side story that's accompanied with the Blu-ray DVD releases of the anime.

The characters of Manga/TheSevenDeadlySins that belong to the Demon Clan. These include various demons and those closely associated with them.

The Demon Clan is one the five major races in Britannia. About three thousand years prior to the story, they waged an ancient war against all the other races of the country. It was only through the combined efforts of the goddess, giant, fairy, and human races that the demons were defeated. The majority of the demons were sealed away in a prison created by the Goddess Clan after the war. The act of unsealing them from this prison so that the Holy Knights of Liones can go to war with them is the main motivation of Hendrickson in the first part of the story.

* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: Zeldris reveals that part of the reason the Demon Clan accepts individuals of other races is due to being viewed as the outcast and freaks of the five clans, so accepting those ostracized for being freaks amongst the other clans seems natural in their eyes. If the individual also happen to be incredibly powerful in their own right then [[EqualOpportunityEvil all the better]].

The Six Black Knights are a group of warriors from the Demon Clan. Originally briefly mentioned offhand in a flashback in the manga proper, it was later revealed in an announcement that they're going to be the main villains in the upcoming movie, Seven Deadly Sins: Prisoners of the Sky.

* BadassCrew: They are as strong as the the Ten Commandments, who are clearly quite powerful.

The leader of the Six Black Knights and main villain of the movie, Seven Deadly Sins: Prisoners of the Sky. In order to break the 3,000 year old seal on a certain demonic beast, he seeks the lives of the sky tribe people.

** Like King's Chastiefol, Basquias is a [[BladeOnAStick spear]] and its first and default weapon form aptly named Basquias is a gigantic intricately designed one. Resembling Chastiefol's released True form in size and capabilities, Gloxinia likewise typically uses it like a FantasticNuke.

* AdaptedOut: Since the anime doesn't adapt the Edinburgh side story, none of the vampires except for Gelda have appearances in the anime. Although, the entire group does make a {{cameo}} in a flashback to the time when Zeldris sealed them.
