Then, he kills both Chosuke and Takei who were the lead investigators of his wife's murder case.
* FakingTheDead: Just when the police are about to apprehend him for questioning, his car was torched and a suicide note was found which closed the case abruptly. However, nineteen years later, he shows up alive and well, much to Daisuke and Suzue's shock.

* MadScientist: Like his wife, he's a scientist who also researched the adollium and is one of the administrators of HEUSC. However, he got very greedy where he plans to sell the adollium technology to weapons dealers and corporations. This ruins his marriage with Sayuri, who was against giving the adollium because of the danger it imposes. It eventually leads to him killing her.
* TilMurderDoUsPart: He murdered his wife, Sayuri, because she rejected his plan to sell her adollium research. This research is the reason for the deterioration of their marriage.
