Blessed With Suck is about something that initially seems like a blessing, but ends up sucking. Will's circumstances are the opposite.

* BlessedWithSuck: In the narration, Will admits that even though he's permanently stuck with the infamy of shitting himself during an exam, he's free from social awkwardness as he can never do anything as embarrassing as that.

* TokenEvilTeammate: Evil is a strong word, but most of the time, Jay isn't actually nicer than school bully Donovan - the main difference simply is that Jay is too big of a coward to use violence. His jerkassery is played more for laughs than Donovan's, though, but except for his very few PetTheDog moments, he only seems to be part of the group by virtue of having known Simon since early childhood and being admired by Neil who is stupid enough to believe in his lies.
** There's also the fact the lads are clearly aware of Jay's FreudianExcuse - Simon even accuses Jay of being scared of his dad in the movie. Donovan on the other hand mostly seems to act like a dick ForTheLulz.

Cool Loser has been renamed and made YMMV. Moving to YMMV page.

* LoserProtagonist: They're all pretty pathetic, to the point where their status as social outcasts isn't hard to believe. Simon could qualify as a CoolLoser, but his frequent desperation often causes whatever coolness he has to dissipate when he needs it most.

* LoserProtagonist: They're all pretty pathetic, to the point where their status as social outcasts isn't hard to believe. Simon could qualify often comes off as a CoolLoser, somewhat more well-adjusted, but his frequent desperation often causes whatever coolness he has to dissipate when he needs it most.

* CoolLoser: Zig-zagged. When he actually picks up (or at least is close to picking up) girls, it's usually because they fall for his peculiar humor or pertinent sarcasm. But most of the time, these traits just make people consider him to be a pompous, socially awkward sycophant.

* CoolLoser: Zig-zagged. While Simon is quite good-looking, enough to draw the interest of girls fairly easily, his self-consciousness and tendency to act out irrationally when under pressure make him extremely awkward around them, to the point where his lack of popularity is very believable. This is highlighted in his appearance, where his overall attractiveness is mostly offset by his terrible hair and dorky facial expressions.

* TheFace: Played with. He's often forced into this position by Jay and Will whenever the group attempts to chat up women due to his relative coolness compared to the other three, but his awkwardness always causes him to either freeze up or make a fool of himself before he's ever able to do any sort of ice breaking.

Extraverted Nerd has been disambig'd

* ExtravertedNerd: For all his geekiness, he's generally more confident when speaking to girls and strangers than Simon and Jay are. This is just as much a weakness as it is a strength, however, as with this confidence comes a dangerous amount of self-righteous tactlessness that often gets him into hot water.

I removed the Ambiguously Brown example for Will. This was included because it was stated that Patrice mistook will for being an Arab. Firstly, I don’t think it’s clear that Patrice did mistake Will for being an Arab. The dialogue simply had Will ask Patrice if he wanted to do anything during his stay and Patrice reply that he didn’t like Arabs. Patrice never said anything to indicate that he thought Will was an Arab, nor did Will react as if Patrice had suggested him to be Arabic. Putting that aside, however, the trope deals with “a character with a darker skin tone that clearly stands out from most of the cast, but it's not entirely clear what race they are actually meant to be.” Having a character mistake Will (played by the fair-skinned English Simon Bird) for Arabic doesn’t meet this definition.

* AmbiguouslyBrown: Comes up exactly once, when Patrice mistakes him for an Arab.

All four of the Lads have morals and ethics, even our boy Jay.

** None of them, not even Jay, would consider dating a girl too much younger than them. They are all horrified when the girls they approach turn out to be thirteen (though considering they were smoking and drinking and they couldn't see them from the front, it wasn't really their fault).

** When Jay immediately sells Will out to Donovan, Simon and Neil (who is his best friend and goes along with pretty much everything he says and does) glare in disbelief at him.
** All of them are horrified when Neil is forced to punch a fish to death.
** In the finale, all of them are visibly concerned when it's hinted that Jay is a victim of sexual abuse.
** Jay and Simon, despite the fallout they have with Will, are upset for him when Charlotte humiliates him in front of most of their class.
** Even Neil does occasionally doubt some of Jay's more outlandish claims, especially when his story changes the second it actually starts to become serious.
