A writer by passion, he's taken up college classes in Brookhaven New York in order to hone his creative skills. But like with Charlie, the events surrounding the opening of a new Freddy Fazbear's has dragged him into the adventure as well.

* IAmNotMyFather: John's father was unsupportive of his writings aspirations and his subsequent attempts to "man up" his son only drove him to get as far away as possible. To the point that John considers being compared to his father in any way to be an insult.

* UnderstandingBoyfriend: Although hesitant to get involved with the things happening inside the new Freddy's, John is more than willing to go along with it all in order to help put Charlie's mind at ease.

* BreakTheCutie: His kidnapping at William's hands and the revelation about just what really happened to his friend Michael broke something in Carlton that's left him more bitter towards the world than ever before.

One of Charlie's best friends when they were kids, Jessica has since grown into the backbone of her re-kindled friend group after the events of The Silver Eyes and is studying paleontology in a college located within New York City. Though much like her other friends, the near-tragic events that took place at the original Freddy's has scarred her psyche more than she wants to admit.

Ever since the events of the original novel, Charlie has been spending the preceding time attempt to overcome the trauma of her past. But her attempts at a quiet, peaceful life keep being interrupted by the vengeful ghosts of her family's past.

Freddy is one of four animatronics that Charlie's father Henry constructed back in the early '80s for his now-closed restaurant. Built as an extension of Henry's original "Fredbear" character, Freddy is the cheery-looking lead member of the band. Current company owner Rick Taylor hopes to one day restore the old band to their former glory, unaware of the dark secret that lurks behind the faded brown fur.
