A wonderful example is Jee-Han learning the Yunhon Soul Recovery technique, which none of the Chunbumoon knew because they were still researching its theory. Doing normal actions such as working out or studying grants him basic EXP, while using an acquired skill increases its level. * {{Badass}}: As he expands his skillset and knowledge, and builds upon them, Jee-Han slowly, but surely, is growing closer to the trope. He's already considered strong enough to live in the Abyss by a veteran.

* BatterUp: His first weapon of choice. He tries out several others later, eventually settling on a spear.

* ExtraOreDinary: Has a defensive skill that gives his skin the strength of bronze.

* FreakOut: During the early part of the story, Jee-Han couldn't see his mother's title and level, leading him to suspect she's both hiding something and is high level, so when [[spoiler: he could somehow see his mother's title and level and see that she was a low-level housewife, he was shocked and was wondering what was going on]].
* GenreSavvy: With his Gamer ability putting everything into a context most in-universe people would be hard-pressed to match his knowledge in, Jee-Han is normally able to easily deduce and work thing out in his favor, as long as it doesn't require information he'd have no way to be familiar with, like knowledge from the Abyss.
* GridInventory/{{Hammerspace}} / HyperspaceArsenal: How his inventory GUI appears.
* HardWorkHardlyWorks: Played with. He can instantly learn new techniques by using a skillbook, then immediately use them proficiently, whereas normal people would have to struggle with the learning process then train with the skill to gain a similar level of proficiency. A wonderful example is Jee-Han learning the Yunhon Soul Recovery technique, which none of the Chunbumoon knew because they were still researching its theory. He proceeded to use it to [[spoiler:accelerate Sung-Il's healing process from one month to one ''day''.]] However, Jee-Han's skills all have levels of their own, and he [[LevelGrinding has to work his butt off]] to strengthen them all the same. He also has to perform actions to gain new skills on his own, and Sung-Il reminded him that he still needs actual experience to be able to use the skills effectively, so he still trains with Sung-Il in order to get just that.
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: While it at first seems like he missed a chance at some awesome superpowers because his love for games gave him a gamer ability, we later find out that it allows him to learn incredibly powerful techniques in meager amounts of time, and when the mechanics of it are exploited properly, he can very quickly become a force to be reckoned with. They also realize that for his ability to work the way it does, the world literally has to conform to it, meaning that he's technically a member of the rarest and most powerful class of natural ability users. To put it simply, in a world populated by generic tanks, lightning bruisers, and beam spammers, he is a reality warper.
* HealingHands: Jee-Han when using the Yunhon Soul Recovery technique.

* InstantExpert: Zigzagged. While he can learn basic spells and techniques simply by absorbing knowledge from a book or even inventing them, he has to practice them to make them worth using in a fight.

* LevelGrinding: Whenever he isn't busy with something else, this is generally what he's doing. The fact his skills ALL have skill levels means that he is basically forced to be constantly grinding in order to survive when the supernatural comes calling.

** In addition, while both people that have found out about Jee-Han's ability laughed at it, almost all fans realized how absurdly powerful Game Breaking Jee-Han's ability is. He is practically immune to any damage that doesn't kill him, recovers his full health extremely quickly, and can pretty much learn ANY ability he wants. He could also potentially raise one of his stats such as Strength to god-like levels incredibly quickly. To put numbers on it, when the story began, he had a Strength of 10, and raised it to 15 with his first level-up. Since then, he has gained 3 levels, and could put 15 more points in Strength, if he wanted to. That means that in less than a month, he could have TRIPLED his base Strength.
** He later finds out that he's what's called a late bloomer. Some natural abilities are powerful to begin with. Late bloomers start off weak, but can become infinitely stronger through training--with no limits.
** Jee-Han is technically a RealityWarper. Whenever someone kills a monster in an Instant Dungeon, the corpse simply disappears, as monsters are just souls having taken on physical shape temporarily. However, whenever Jee-Han gets involved, monsters ''start dropping items.'' This is a big deal because, since they're just souls, they don't actually carry anything with them and thus have nothing to leave behind--yet ''they do'' when Jee-Han's involved. This means that Jee-Han's ability is ''forcing'' the world to conform to it and ''make'' the monsters drop items like in video games. Ergo, Jee-Han's ability belongs to the rarest strata of ability users--the ones whose abilities work because the world has to bend backwards for them. The above is just one of the several ways his Gamer ability twists reality for his benefit.

* DissonantSerenity: She talks about her kidnapping, rape, enslavement and selling in pieces like one would discuss the weather. A strong example of her DeathSeeker tendencies.
* GlassCannon: Sung-Ah's stat page seems to point towards this. She has abysmal stats in vitality and strength, pointing to a very frail body, but has even more Int(elligence) than Jee-Han, along with very high Wis(dom) and good Luck, all indicative of a heavy-hitting mage. Justified, since she's been cursed since birth with an ailment that drains her life force.
* IllGirl: The Black Demon's Invasion slowly drains her life force and will eventually kill her if not stopped. On top of a general lack of energy, the curse gradually drains the warmth from her body as it creeps closer to death. She's often lying on a hospital bed connected to machinery, and Sung-Gong keeps her close to protect her. Jee-Han can temporarily reduce the effects of the curse with the [[HealingHands Yun-Hon Soul Recovery Technique,]] including restoring her energy and warming her up, and hopes to [[LevelGrinding grind it enough]] to cure her completely.
* MoralityPet: Though Sung-Gong isn't outright villainous so much as as antagonistic as needed for Sung-Ah's sake, his daughter represents the best of him. Everything Sung-Gong does is to save Sung-Ah from an extremely dangerous curse that's slowly killing her.
