* WholesomeCrossdresser: He does this [[spoiler:to infiltrate the BigBad's mansion, and gets a little too into character]]. It inadvertently ends up saving his life, since [[spoiler:Il Duce mistakes him for a woman from behind and simply knocks him out]].

* FriendlySniper

* LargeHam[=/=]NoIndoorVoice: While Connor does have his quiet badass moments (such as during the "kill 'em all" speech at Rocco's place), when he gets going, it's with all the Hot Blood of his general nature.

* BeserkButton: Don't mess with his brother.

The more impulsive MacManus twin.

The somewhat taller, more outgoing [=MacManus=] twin.

* HotBlooded: Connor is the more hot-tempered of the two, and is the one most prone to making fiery speeches, such as [[spoiler:during the final courtroom scene in the first movie]].

* PetTheDog: While in the hospital, he plays with a sick child despite his own wounds.
* RedOniBlueOni: Red to Murphy's Blue. Connor is far more HotBlooded and prone to emotional extremes.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: {{Averted}}, in that Connor's HotBlooded nature makes him both more emotionally open ''and'' prone to ridiculous feats of manliness. Not to mention it is implied that he got his looks and outgoing personality from his ''mother''.

* ColdSniper: To a lesser extent than usual for the trope. He still shows no qualms about hitting girls who hit him (or Connor) first, shoots a not-quite-dead mobster without blinking, and stabs one of the mob dudes who captured them in the back repeatedly with a broken hand. [[spoiler:Most likely from his father's side of the family, as Noah [=MacManus=] also had the pale-skinned dark-haired look (when he was younger) and tendency to smoke.]]

* RedOniBlueOni: Blue to Connor's Red. Murphy is the more grounded and compassionate of the two.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Played with. He is the calmer, nicer of the two twins as you can see when Rocco fights the hitman, he goes to help Rocco before Connor makes him "prove himself" and when Connor's not looking provides Rocco with a weapon. Being pale, withdrawn, and more lightly built than Connor makes him ''appear'' somewhat frailer... [[ItsPersonal until he gets]] [[TranquilFury really mad]], [[ColdSniper that is]].

* SugarAndIcePersonality: While much quieter than Connor, he can't [[NotSoStoic stay calm]] for long when [[spoiler:Rocco dies]].

* LargeHam: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=774JiSMWdQQ Best exemplified by this scene]] - where every line of dialogue he delivers is AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS!
