He was the biological core of the immense Gebel Gan Eden, a mobile weapon like the Nashim Gan Eden meant to defend his people from the "[[Anime/{{Gunbuster}} STMC]]" (Space Terrible Monster Crowd). With Irui Gan Eden, Augustus took the Gebel Gan Eden and left the Earth for a new planet that would eventually be called Balmar, in order to escape the STMC, in the ancient past, alongside a vast majority of the First People. Those who stayed on the Earth would become the ancestors to present-day humans. Some time after settling on Balmar, Irui and the Nashim Gan Eden returned to Earth to become its guardian deity, while Augustus stayed and ruled the fledgeling Balmarians, the descendants of the First People on Balmar, deified as Zfylud and the Spirit Emperor.

He's known as the existence that created the world of Balmar, its god of creation, Zyflud. Meeting with him was forbidden, so only the current Spirit Emperors were allowed to know of his existence.

Ultimately, Ingram acknowledges Cobray's will and works in tandem with him, evolving the Werkbau into the "Dis Astranagant", with the full capabilities of the original Astranagant at Cobray's disposal. After defeating Keisar Ephes, Cobray takes Ingram's mantle as the Time Diver and vanishes from the ''Alpha'' universe into TheMultiverse]].

A black-skinned soldier from the Earth Federation Army, Albharda is a friend of Selena and a member of Team Jelba. It's by chance he becomes acquainted with Minaki, who is distressed her father Kaoru Tomine built the [=JinRai=] for his own ambitions and hurting innocents. Touma insists she come along with him, and after much convincing, he gets Minaki to devise a plan to capture the [=JinRai=], then modify it into the [=RaiOh=] for him to use and he officially joins the team as a pilot. Upon meeting Kaoru, he calls him out for his sociopathic actions, even overcoming the deadly LIOH System built into the [=RaiOh=]. Throughout the game, he's trained by [[Characters/SuperRobotWarsAdvance Axel Almer]] [[spoiler:and continues his training with him aboard the ''Kurogane'' at the end of the game]].

** BadassNormal: In contrast to the rest of ''Alpha 3'''s protagonists, Touma has the most plain and unlikely background for a HumongousMecha pilot. Compared to Kusuha and Bullet (two powerful Psychodrivers), Cobray ([[spoiler:a Balmarian clone of Ingram with a RealityWarper mecha]]) and a professional spy (Selena), Touma is a simple delivery boy with knows some karate. After tons of TrainingFromHell, he becomes one of the biggest badasses in the setting.
* BerserkButton: The BigBad of ''Alpha 3'' had the gall to shoot Minaki, until a super furious Touma kicks him in the face STRAIGHT TO HELL. ''Nobody'' messes with Minaki.

A member of the "Team Jelba", she is the SoleSurvivor after they are wiped out by a Balmarian squad led by Spectra [=McCready=]. Selena swears {{Revenge}} and jumps from faction to faction to find her. [[spoiler:Due to Spectra's resemblance to Viletta Vadim]], Selena stalks her throughout ''Alpha 3'', but after meeting with Ibis Douglas and the rest of the Project Terrestrial Dream, she slowly lets go of her vengeance-filled tendencies.

He makes his playable debut in ''Original Generation'' alongside Selena in ''Dark Prison'', his default machine being the Gesterben Type-G, although he could also pilot the [[SuperRobot Grungust Type-2/Nishiki]].
