* BladeOnAStick: Bran wields a glaive, Habod o' Babd, that has spilled the blood of generations of warfare.

* BrokenMessiah: Appears to come down with a case of this trope in the JR plot when Jonny tried to ''strangle'' her when caught in the grip of his KnightTemplar madness, [[HeelRealization but held himself back]] from striking Selene. This made her come to the conclusion that Selene probably meant [[LoveInterest more than "just" a friend]] to Jonny - [[IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy despite seeing the corporate heiress as a more worthy match for Jonny]], she still couldn't understand why she felt bad over this. Combined with her truckload of [[HeroicSelfDeprecation self-worth issues]], [[CerebusSyndrome one can already see]] [[FromBadToWorse where this might take her]]...

* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: Wishes this for Jonny and Selene, or at least so she ''tries''. Cue BrokenMessiah overlapping with LoveHurts.

* LoveHurts: And how! Overlaps with BrokenMessiah, as shown above.

* ThirdWheel: Or at least [[ItsNotYouItsMe sees herself as such]] in the now-developing ([[CannotSpitItOut but not yet confessed]]) romance between Jonny and Selene, which is the primary factor leading to her bout of BrokenMessiah.

* BrokenMessiah: (See BreakTheCutie above) Played straight by Erin in the aftermath of inVERsion. Although attacking and hurting Chizu and the others was due to [[BrainwashedAndCrazy being under the influence]] of the [[ArtifactOfDoom Orange]] [[TheCorruption Materia]], part of her [[ItsAllMyFault couldn't deny]] that it was her desire to [[IJustWantToBeBadass become like Chizu]] that the Orange Materia played on to influence her actions, something that she simply couldn't stop beating herself up over.

* YankTheDogsChain: And again, inVERsion. Prior to that, you might think Erin was slowly developing on the right track, slowly picking up combat skills, and generally [[TookALevelInBadass gaining more confidence and personal courage]] in the process. [[DiabolusExMachina Then]] [[CorruptTheCutie inVERsion]] [[BreakTheCutie happened]]. [[BrokenMessiah The aftermath]] wasn't pretty to say the least.

A Demon Hunter and magus-in-training from Britain, Cassandra tends to give most the first impression of one who's generally [[NotGoodWithPeople hard to get along with]], being intensely competitive, acid-tongued and having a chip on her shoulder. A falling-out with her father forced her out of her home in Britain, and to seek an alternative place where she could further her studies into magic, which would be none other than [[ExtranormalInstitute Hyakuji High]].
