* OurPresidentsAreDifferent: In Saints Row 4 he'll be POTUS. He'll definitely be President Action. Since he's also a major criminal, he'll also be PresidentEvil.

An anti-heroic ([[JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope except in the second game]]) [[TheSociopath sociopath]], the [[NoNameGiven unnamed]] protagonist, usually referred to as "Playa" in the first game and "Boss" afterwards, rises from an anonymous citizen on the streets of Stilwater recruited by Julius Little into the Third Street Saints, to a lieutenant of the aforementioned gang, the eventual leader of the Saints, an international celebrity, and finally the ''freakin' [[PresidentEvil President of the United States]]''.

* EvilIsPetty: The loyalty missions show off just how big of an asshole Zinyak can be, [[spoiler:from ruining Matt's carefully constructed [=NyteBlade=] fan fiction/simulation to [[HollywoodToneDeaf singing so wretchedly that even Pierce is astounded.]]]]

* HollywoodToneDeaf: Despite his love for classical music, Pierce's loyalty mission shows that he can't hold a tune to save his life. To say Boss and Pierce are less then thrilled at this is a major understatement.

** In ''SR4'', when Matt Miller suggests that [[spoiler:rescuing Johnny Gat]] is a bad idea, the Boss knocks him to the ground with a MegatonPunch and starts beating the shit out of him; had the other Saints not intervened, the Boss may well have beaten poor Matt to death.

** CulturedBadass: Supporting the idea that the Boss's BookDumb aspects are mere ObfuscatingStupidity, they call themselves a "Puckish Rogue" in Saints Row VI (referring to Puck in Shakespeare's AMidsummerNightsDream), and are repeatedly mentioned to be fans of Creator/JaneAusten.

* KlingonsLoveShakespeare: Fascinated by Earth literature, theater and classical music. Particularly enamored of Shakespeare and Creator/JaneAusten, claiming that her works in particular inspired his rise to power. [[spoiler: It turns out that he actually abducted Austen and kept her as a HumanPopsicle. She's the game's narrator.]]

* {{Pride}}: Man, does this guy '''EVER''' have such an excess of it. Unlike [[SystemShock SHODAN]], [[spoiler: he still even keeps inflating his ego even after you finally defeat him and start ripping his head off.]] The guy just doesn't want to admit defeat. Ever.

* TeleportersAndTransporters: He has some sort of teleportation device on his wrist, which he uses to abduct Shaundi in "The Saints Wing" and to cheat in both of his fights with the Boss.
