Added DiffLines:

* TechnicolorDeath: When defeated, they explode into energy in a variety of ways before turning back into a card, which then turns black. The "variety of ways" part is worth noting; they were the last monsters-of-the-week in the show to have unique death animations like the Youma; each type of monster from then on would all die the same way (turning into blue sand for Droids, shattering like glass for Lemures, etc).

* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Gives one a subdued, pitying version to Ail and An. An, acknowledging that they couldn't really help becoming that way. Fortunately, they learn the error of their ways.ways afterwards.

* AntiVillain: They have no villainous agenda - they just want to survive. It's just that they misunderstand positive emotions like love, and so their idea of how to keep themselves alive is through unethical means of stealing life energy from Earth.

It's just that they misunderstand positive emotions like love, and so their idea of how to keep themselves alive is through unethical means of stealing life energy from Earth.Earth. They also misunderstand positive emotions like love, and apply the "take at all costs" approach to it rather than the proper "giving" approach.

* EvenEvilHasStandards: Despite their general disregard for human life, they seem averse to killing, having outright stated on more than one occasion that they will only take as much energy from a victim as they can without it being lethal.

* LoveMakesYouEvil: Well, they have a very warped idea about what love is. They assume it's something they can grab with their own hands as if it were an object. [[spoiler: The siblings are set straight at the end of their arc.]]

* AlphaBitch: In her human guise, she plays this role, though strangely (and dramatically ironically) in the arc's last few episodes she gets [[LovableAlphaBitch nicer as a human]] and [[GreenEyedMonster more evil as an alien]]. * AlphaBitch: In Downplayed. She has the personality in her human guise, she plays but not the power, influence and group of followers that usually accompany it, making her come off more as a bitter loner.
