Four individuals said to be sworn to uphold the peace in Ivalice, but there are more personal things than that going on with them.

The first Walker that crosses the Heroes' path, Galahad is a ruthless Lancer, a type of warrior that specializes in spears. Of all the Walkers of Ivalice, he is the most enigmatic.

!Janus
A mad magic user who enjoys human suffering. He particularly hated by Lotus [[spoiler: because he is the one who killed her charge, Princess Celandine, and was responsible for the nearly fatal attack that caused Lotus' amnesia.]]

A female knight who is also capable of summon magic. Her love and devotion to Isaac is so strong that she will do anything he asks of her. She despises Lotus, because she (correctly) suspects that Isaac would prefer Lotus as a lover over her.

However, all bets were off later and he let his true nature show by attacking the festival with the intent of killing as many as possible and taking out the heroes.

* WorthyOpponent: Subverted. Judge seems to think that Ebony might become a worthy opponent if she trained herself better. However, he truly doesn’t care.

* MisterSeahorse: After his replacement body was corrupted by the Black Beast and eventually melted into seithr, the Beast split itself between Rawk and Erica, both of them becoming pregnant. Rawk's body was reconfigured by the Beast so that it had the "necessary equipment".
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: His real name is Lawrence Newton Bedraglighet. He doesn't like it much.
* ProfessionalKiller: Rawk spent nearly six years as one of these, and still takes a job from time to time.
* SoulJar: He doesn't have one: He ''was'' one, and he anchored no less than nine souls to the world of them living.
* WillingChanneler: Rawk allows the Black Beast to influence him in order to use his more powerful abilities.

!Fayte:
Fayte: A fox spirit from Freejia. While he tries to act the nice guy (mostly towards women) this usually backfires thus making him hated instead. Though he used to be a normal fox, he was changed by the light of the comet which set him on his way to enrolling in the Freejian branch of the Academy where he later met his new partner, Raith.

Ebony's adopted older sister. She lives in the capital with her family and tries to keep an eye on Ebony when not busy.

* CoolBigSis: While Amelie is very open to Ebony’s friends and is more than happy to embarrass her in public, she does care for her younger adopted sibling and offers to help Alessio in gaining Ebony’s affections.
* CrocodileTears: Ebony hints that Amelie is more than willing to cry crocodile tears in order to gain sympathy from someone.
* MassiveNumberedSiblings: She has twenty siblings included the adopted Ebony.
* MustHaveCaffeine: Taken to eleven. She is addicted to coffee.

!Ebony
A female elf mage that acts as a sort of leader for the group. She came from the planet of Nirn and specializes in fire magic and warping. She owns the tower everyone resides in.

* BerserkButton: Do not call her Enoby. She will summon blue fire, a sure sign that you need to run fast and don't look back.
* BlackEyesOfCrazy: Subverted. Ebony has black sclera, however she is not yet crazy.
* GoshDangItToHeck: Ebony rarely uses conventional swear words. If she is mad, she uses the word s’wit and n’wah that she had learned from her former teacher on Nirn. She swears only once and with very good reason
* HappilyAdopted: Ebony had to be adopted while on the Heroes’ Earth, due to being a child and inexperienced in the new world. She was adopted by a large family of centipede demons.
* KillItWithFire: Favorite method of killing enemies.
* MassiveNumberedSiblings: Ebony has one biological brothers and nineteen adopted siblings.
* TeamMom: A rare form because of her status as the leader and being an action girl.

! Master-Of-Omega

* ArtificialIntelligence: He tends to exist in the bodies created by his masters almost a thousand years ago, although he also lurks in the computer system for the tower.
* CapedMecha: Before he developed the android, MoO used Bushido in order to act as a human and wore a thick heavy cloak to hide his robot form.
* OlderThanHeLooks: He is almost thousands of years old, easily the oldest hero.
* RidiculouslyHumanRobot
* TeamDad: MoO is the only hero that can be considered this in the group. However, he is jokingly called the ‘Alcoholic Team Dad’ for the fact that he rarely shows off his Team Dad moments and doesn’t usually care about the others like the Team Mom does.

! Nayru:

* ACupAngst: Nayru angsts about this when she wears the outfit she has to wear for Big Brother’s party. She also uses her ability to ‘enhance’ that aspect of her. While not permanent, she felt better.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Nayru doesn't battle much, nor like combat. That doesn't stop her from being able to freeze your blood while it’s still pumping in your body.
* KillItWithWater: Nayru has the ability to transform into water as well as manipulate small bodies of it.
* {{Moe}}: Nayru tends to get called a moe, but she has no idea what it means.
* ShoutOut: To the goddess Nayru from Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda.

! Villain-of-Awesome
* AntiHero: [[SlidingScaleOfAntiheroes Slides from Type IV to Type I and back up again.]] He mostly stays in Type III however.

* ParentalAbandonment: Lost his parents in a train wreck.

! Zero/Ricky
* CoolSword: Ricky used to have a blade named the AnitaeBlade, the name as a joke. It could absorb elemental attacks, and channel attacks based on the element it had absorbed, was night-unbreakable, and could [[SoulJar seal spirits in it.]] It was sealed away permanently to deal with a demon guarding one of the Cubes,but that happened off screen.
** Ricky has a new weapon, a ring made of [[MorphWeapon magically metamorphic]] [[AddedAlliterativeAppeal metal]]. Two of it's maximum ten forms are swords, the first being a rapier, the second being a hand-and-a-half sword.
* GenreSavvy: Comes from having lived on Earth for quite some time, and despite his amnesia, he remembers most of it.
* GoshDangItToHeck: Ricky never swears , and generally sticks to "Damn it." and "Darn." If a situation is bad enough for him to swear.....
* HammerSpace: He stores a large amount of his possessions in a pocket dimension within his bag, which he created. And always carries.
** One adventure involved some of the Heroes being trapped in said bag.
* HeroesPreferSwords: In a universe where many enemies used ranged weapons, he sure likes swords.
** He's recently been avoiding this at times, as one of his new weapons functions as an plasma assault rifle.
* IdentityAmnesia: He came to the Tower with no idea who he was, and even after 2 years ,the amount he remembers about his past is surprisingly minimal.
* LaserBlade: Zero's Z-Saber.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: Of the IdentityAmnesia kind.
* MagicAIsMagicA: Ricky knows this rule well.
* RidiculouslyHumanRobot: Zero.
* TranquilFury: Ricky rarely loses it, and his rage generally is kept to a cold fury.
! Lotus

A female fighter with a difficult past. She notably can change which abilities she can use (as well as her outfits) by drawing or sheathing her sword. In her default "form," she can manipulate metal. When drawing her sword, she can use Holy Knight techniques. She originally hails from a small village of summoners in the land of Ivalice. Lotus is one of the Heroes who was involved in the Awesome Incident.

* BadassDamsel: She can hold her own in a fight, but she often gets whacked by [[DistressBall Distress Balls]].
