There was never a doubt in Damon's mind that he was destined to be the Ultimate Debater. From an early age, Damon would argue with anyone that would try to confront him. This led him to learn how to argue from any position in any topic. Such frequent confrontations left Damon isolated from his peers, further leading him down the path of ignoring others solely to train his talent, with the hopes that one day he will be admired by everyone for his skill.

* TheAloner: Damon decided to stay alone so he can focus on his own talents.

* AntiHero: In keeping with ''Eden's Garden'''s DarkerAndEdgier story, he's this due to his [[JerkAss rude]] and [[TheAloner anti-social]] personality. What really solidifies this is how different he is from the canon Danganronpa and more heroic protagonists. On top of his personality being far more unpleasant, he's extremely arrogant compared to them, as characters such as [[VisualNovel/DanganronpaTriggerHappyHavoc Makoto]] and [[VisualNovel/DanganronpaV3KillingHarmony Shuichi]] are known for their lack of confidence. Shuichi in particular lacks confidence in his talent, while Damon holds his Ultimate title dearly. Damon is also much more cynical, as shown by his speech by the end of how blindly trusting Ultimates to not murder is unrealistic, unlike the natural optimism of Makoto.

* ExpressiveHair: When he gets really upset, his ahoge scrunches up a ''lot''.
* {{Foil}}: His biggest foil so far is Wolfgang Akire. Both are privileged, professionally dressed, and presumably wealthy students whose talents revolve around debating and making arguments. However, their personalites are where the differences are blantant. Damon is an [[{{Narcissist}} arrogant]] [[JerkAss jerk]] with {{No Social Skills}}, while Wolfgang is a {{Nice Guy}} who is considerably more humble and very good at socializing with others. The main difference however, is their ideologies. Damon is {{The Cynic}}, who dismisses most of the Ultimate talents of the other students as worthless and immediately distrusts them as soon as the killing game starts, unwilling to work with others. Meanwhile, Wolfgang is an {{All Loving Hero}} who has faith in the abilities of the other Ultimate students and empathizes cooperation over isolation. Considering Damon monologued about how their Ultimate talents don't contibute to society specifically as a response to Wolfgang's viewpoint that all Ultimates have the goal of improving society, it's clear they're set up to be rivals.
** A smaller example is Kai Monteago. Both are egotistical Ultimates who have a strong desire to be recognized for their talents. However, while they are both [[{{Narcissist}} Narcissists]], they act self-absorbed in different ways. While Kai is more openly selfish and is willing to cry about the lack of recognition and respect he recieves, Damon keeps it mostly in his head, only blowing up at the end. Kai is also more openly friendly and social, strongly desiring attention and love. Meanwhile, Damon is [[NoSocialSkills incredibly anti-social and sucks at talking to people]], prefering to be alone at the end of the day, as he desires respect and recognition over love and friendship.
* HatedByAll: After the prologue's Class Trial, he gains a negative reception from his Ultimates after he vouches on the idea on how most of their classmates don't have valuable talents (like him) and how it's only a matter of time before one of them resorts to murder.

** He believes the title of "Ultimate" has become watered down to the point of meaningless, since it's now handed out to people who only care about using it to get famous. Yet Damon's biggest aspiration is ''also'' to be admired by others for his talent.

* InnocentlyInsensitive: While his dimissal of the students' talents and their ability to trust in each other near the end of the Prologue is easily his biggest [[JerkAss Jerkass]] moment, Damon actually doesn't seem to have malicious intentions. He even admits he was just trying to make sure the Ultimates weren't so willing to have faith in each other during such a dangerous situation.

** Rather than blindly trust his classmates will all work together and nobody will commit murder, Damon points out that realistically it's only a matter of time before they start turning on one another. Given the nature of the game he's playing it's obvious he's right to the player, but in-universe it doesn't win him any friends.

* {{Narcissist}}: Is incredibly arrogant about his talent, and looks down on the other Ultimates for not being on his level.

* PoliticallyIncorrectHero: Possibly unintentional on his part due to his sheltered upbringing and occasionally {{InnocentlyInsensitive}} nature, but his immediate dimissal of the other Ultimate students since they don't have talents that are worthy in his eyes and have very eccentric, unprofessional personalities and attire gives off very elitist vibes. The only students he seems to be willing to admire are the very clearly wealthy and privileged Wolfgang and Wenona, at least for their talents.

* SmallNameBigEgo: Played with. On one hand, Damon is an Ultimate, meaning he has made a name for himself in his profession and holds the skill for it. However, throughout the prologue, it becomes clear that, in spite of of his pride and believing himself to be superior than other Ultimates, his peers pretty much treats him like an average guy (likely since all of them are Ultimates as well). While they don't, initially, hate him (since the 'ego' aspect was internal up until the class trial), they weren't above teasing him, being dismissive of him (i.e Eva refusing to let him lift her to scope out another room), and occasionally forgetting his presence (i.e, Cassidy forgetting he was apart of the dining hall cast). Plus, unlike students who were recognized before introductions (like Kai or Wenona), or at least had skills for others to talk about in interest for a bit, its contrasted with nobody recognizing Damon or really caring much about his talent (outside of Cassidy calling him a [[EmbarrassingNickname 'bargain bin lawyer']]).

If there's a target, then Desmond can hit it. Doesn't matter how fast or how far, as the Ultimate Marksman, Desmond can land his shots with whatever ranged weapon of his choice. Favoring the bow, his precision is feared in competition, and is only contrasted by his upbeat demeanor towards helping his friends accomplish their goals as well.

* AmbiguouslyBrown: He has an amber brown skin color and a dreadlock hairstyle.

* DreadlockWarrior: {{Zigzagged}}. He has brown dreadlocks and his skills are based on his stellar marksmanship. Although he doesn't like violence and manly uses his talents for non-combative purposes.
* NiceGuy: A golden hearted lad who looks out for his friends.

* AnimalMotif: Owl, shown by his outfit in general, and the owl feather quill he wears as a pendant.

* TheInsomniac: Sleep is listed as one of his dislikes. It's implied his staying up so late is one reason why he's a {{sleepyhead}} during waking hours.
* TheNeedsOfTheMany: Ulysses is motivated to learning as much as he can about history so his findings can be used for society to learn about and prevent the mistakes of the past repeating.
* SmartPeopleWearGlasses: He has round shaded glasses and is well versed in researching everything historical.
* {{Sleepyhead}}: Workaholics are still human so Ulysses may turn out tired or even fall asleep on the spot. When he first introduces himself to Damon, he even falls asleep standing up.
* {{Workaholic}}: He is so dedicated to learning everything historical that he's willing to neglect his own health if necessary.

* RecurringElement: Mark is a student with a music themed talent.

Finding such a successful lawyer at an age as young as Wolfgang's is an accomplishment of it's own right. Successfully defending over 200 of his clients without dropping a single case, this Ultimate Lawyer promises that only the truth and evidence will lead to a conclusion. An earnest and soft-spoken gentleman, he makes sure that everyone is fairly represented, that only facts and logic drive the discussion, even if at times it becomes counterproductive in the trials he participates in.

** More specifically, he gets absolutely furious over the murder of Cara, considering it an unjustified act of [[{{Sadist}} sadism]], considering the victim was a young Ultimate. Unjustified crimes and harm against Ultimates seems to get under his skin.

* LargeHam: He gets himself emotionally invested in the prologue's murder case, and as the Class Trial goes on, he becomes extremely loud, animated, and [[GivingSomeoneThePointerFinger prone to pointing]].

* TheSpock: He values logic and evidence when it comes to completing court cases.

* ThirdPartyPeacekeeper: Throughout the prologue, he serves as the group's peacekeeper by watching over everyone and ensuring that they don't get into needless squabbles.

Being the center of attention has always been natural for Kai. As the Ultimate Influencer, most of the day is spent posing on social media and talking to followers. But Kai doesn't just love the spotlight, he also loves creating drama and conflict. Knowing that his army of fans will follow him to the end of time and that he is not afraid to utilize them, Kai might be the most charismatic yet terrifying person you'll ever cross paths with.

* BadInfluencer: He's the Ultimate Influencer, and a manipulative {{jerkass}} who won't hesitate to sic his "army of underage followers" on people he dislikes. Such a factor contributing into why the others don't really like him.

* ButtMonkey: Spends the entire prologue being dismissed, ignored or mocked by his peers, with his scaredy cat nature being used for comic relief during the trial phase.

* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Given his infamous reputation, alongside his whiny and spoiled attitude, Kai isn't really liked by the other students (something Kai himself is painfully aware of, noting such a fact when he was sent outside in the prologue to talk with the others). Hell, he was disliked by Damon before the guy even knew who he was! The only student that seems to genuinely like/care for him is Diana, but even she notes he isn't the nicest person around when she defends him from being picked on.

* {{Narcissist}}: Immediately cries when he founds out Damon doesn't know him and says how Damon's lack of recognizability made him lose faith in humanity.

* CoolHelmet: He always wears his black, coyote themed helmet.

* TheFaceless: Has yet to take his helmet off, and according to his character bio nobody has seen his face in public in over a year. The only thing visible underneath the helmet are his eyes, and even then only in certain [=CGs=] where they're barely visible.
* FunPersonified: He's always in a jolly mood and will often have something silly to say that lightens the mood.
* InformedAttribute: According to the creators on Twitter, Jett has a heavyset figure, which is hard to see in his sprites and early promotional art due to his track suit, but is [[DownplayedTrope much easier to recognise]] in the in-game [=CGs=] and later promotional art where his gut is much more noticeable.

Nothing but the open sea and his crew, Jean loves traveling all around the world on his cargo ship, delivering goods to some of the largest ports in the world. The energetic, and sometimes hard to control, Ultimate Ship Captain wants the world to know of all his triumphs and stories he's collected over years of being at sea. Protective of his crew, he wants to make sure that everyone is under his guidance and direction are doing their best work to make his ship run smoothly.

* TheBigGuy: The largest guy of the group. Though he shares this role with Ingrid.

* FriendlyPirate: His ensemble brings to mind the pirates you'd see in fairy tales, but he's a good natured young man who sails the seven seas with splendor. Surprisingly, he detests pirates and isn't fond of being compared to one.

* TheGoodCaptain: Along with being a professional sea captain, he's regarded as a good leader who looks out for his crewmates.
* GoodScarsEvilScars: He has two scars on the right side of his face and his right arm.

* MeaningfulName: His last name sounds like "de la mer", or, "of the sea". Fitting for a captain.

* TheCynic: She's the first to say to the others point-blank that she fully expects the other Ultimates to participate in the Killing Game and commit murder, and dismisses Wolfgang as naive for blindly trusting in his classmates.
* IceQueen: While not as blantantly anti-social and rude as Damon is, Eva is stoic by default, mostly apathetic to the others, and is the first to point out that trusting each other in a killing game is going to backfire.
* JerkassHasAPoint: Near the prologue's end when Wolfgang assures Tozu that no one will kill, Eva argues against him stating that they're all Ultimates who've worked hard to achieve their achievements and have families and loved ones waiting for them. She claims the belief of how no one resorting to murder when all of that is on the other side of the dome is founded on pure ignorance.
* MeaningfulName: Her first name is the Latin version of "Eve" which is the name of the first woman to exist and live in the Garden of Eden. Eva is the main female lead and is setting up to be the deuteragonist of the fangame.

* TheStoic: Eva is often presented as being serious and difficult to read. When Cara's "body" is discovered in the prologue, not only does she barely even flinch while everyone else reacts with horror, but she ''pokes the corpse's cheek'', correctly realizing it was only a dummy.

Greeting everyone with a warm smile, Eloise makes sure to show up for her practice on time every day with the goal of improving. But don't be deceived by the Ultimate Fencer's size, as she is incredibly agile with a sabre. While advancing towards her opponents is common practice in fencing, she prefers to lay low and blend in with the crowd during social encounters, and is always ready to make her escape if anyone gets too close to her.

* BigBeautifulWoman: She has a chubby body figure which adds on to her beauty.

* LovableCoward: Eloise scares easy when it comes to meeting new people, she also dislikes horror movies, but she's an honorable girl who is dedicated to her talent.

She may be shy, but just ask Toshiko about her talent and her eyes will light up brighter than the sun. As the Ultimate Matchmaker, it's both her job and responsibility to help everyone find their true love. Her caring and confident demeanor makes you believe that your perfect match is waiting for you somewhere in the world. But don't be taken off guard when she throws occasional shade your direction.

* AdorablyPrecociousChild: Subverted. She's a teenager but she acts quite sophisticated for her age.

* DudeWheresMyRespect: Because of her age and size, she's brushed off as being a random little kid by her fellow Ultimates.

* KimonoIsTraditional: She wears an elaborate kimono but it's unknown if she follows a traditional lifestyle.

* ShrinkingViolet: She shows shades of this as she tends to be shy when she's not talking about her talent.

As one of the youngest billionaires in the country, Wenona redefines what it means to be a ruthless business woman. The Ultimate Entrepreneur rules over the agriculture sector, owning 90% of the farmland and naturally growing produce. Rarely does the public get to see this elusive [=CEO=], but when they do, they quickly realize how cold and determined she can be, only willing to discuss the potential profits and projections of her operations in the upcoming financial quarter.

* BraidsBeadsAndBuckskins: Her braided hair along with her dark skin and coat suggest that she's Native American.
* BrokenPedestal: Her respect for Eden's Garden and the Ultimate Talent Plan vanish after realizing that both institutions labeled people with lackluster talents as Ultimates.

* GoGetterGirl: Wenona is regarded as a successful businesswoman and is known to make daring investments that result in top dollar profits.
* {{Greed}}: Like any good business capitalist, Wenona's projects are often based on how much profit can be guaranteed as a result.

* OnlyOneName: Among the students, she's the only one without a surname (or at least, the only one whose surname is not known).
* UnknownRival: She's one to Grace Madison as her accomplishments have earned her more notoriety and buzz compared to the golfer.

In a world of stages and bright lights, the Ultimate Cosmetologist is here to make everyone beautiful. Before working as a personal stylist for some of the biggest names in media, Diana was just a simple girl trying to make it through high school. Being friends with the most popular group in her school had its advantages, and gave this happy-go-lucky artist the opportunity she needed to show off her talents, and pursue her goal of helping everyone discover the best versions of themselves.

* RoseHairedSweetie: A bit darker in colour than most examples, but has fuchsia colored hair and seemingly has not a mean bone in her body.

Forging the sharpest steel in the fires of her backyard, Ingrid was determined to brand her mark in history with her weapons. While most wars are fought today with ranged weapons, the Ultimate Blacksmith finds beauty in the melee weapons of old, in both their shapes and fighting-styles. Great patience and attention to detail is required to forge the blades of warriors past, and those made by Ingrid are sure to slice cleanly through their opponents (or just look good hanging over a fireplace).

* TheBigGuy: The biggest girl of the class. Although she shares this role with Jean.
* TheBlacksmith: Ingrid is skilled when it comes to forging any sword, weapon or metallic object.

* GentleGiant: Her heart is as big as her body as she's always in a friendly mood when interacting with others.
* GoodOldWays: In regards to weapons, Ingrid has more appreciation for classic weapons and studies their shapes and how to use them properly. She proudly boasts that her forging techniques make things even better than metalworking machines.
* NiceGirl: Ingrid is a friendly and caring individual, serving as the [[TeamMom Team Mom of the group]].
* NotSoAboveItAll: She casually comments how she uses illegal and dangerous chemical substances to help clean her weaponry.

The pressure of competing against the Ultimate Golfer leaves many of her opponents afraid of ever meeting her face-to-face on the green. Grace wants the world to know that she will continue to crush any challenger that tries to claim her title, relentlessly defending her Ultimate status. Those who've once friended this firecracker athlete eventually walk away broken and scarred by their interactions with her, questioning if she is willing to burn every bridge on the way to the top.

* AwesomeAussie: Speaks with an American-Australian accent, and is skilled enough at golf to be considered an Ultimate. Beating up Tozu with surprisingly little comeuppance only adds to it.

** Thanks to her less-than-desirable behavior, she's used to demonstrate the capabilities of the shock bracelets and introduce sharpshooter Mara, and will likely get zapped much more in the foreseeable future.

** In official art where characters are wearing costumes or seasonal outfits (such as Halloween, Easter, and Christmas art), Grace will always be in something bulky and unflattering like a pumpkin costume, an Easter egg costume, or a Christmas tree costume. She never looks happy about it.

* MadnessMantra: At the start of the class trial, she repeats "get me out of here" over and over until Tozu shuts her up with a zap from her electric bracelet.

* SirSwearsAlot: Grace has a thing for trash talking and is willing to use colorful vocabulary when playing.

* TomboyishVoice: Has a very deep, masculine tone of voice, and uses it to shout. [[NoIndoorVoice A lot]].

* WhatTheHellHero: Along with the other cast members, she is quick to call out Damon on his argument that ''he'' was the only one able to get the cast through the prologue trial, and that everyone else's talents were useless by comparison, as she explicitly points out his sense of self-importance, as opposed to holding back like the rest, and isolates herself from him just like everyone else.

* BourgeoisBohemian: While her dedication towards redistributing her earnings for the betterment of society appears to be genuine, as Wolfgang points out her tendency to use her public displays of generosity as content for her own channel is essentially "commodifying the act of charity" and she considers truckloads of chocolate soda to be a "basic necessity". According to Cassidy herself, her reasoning is that it's fine for ''her'' to have money because she actually works hard to earn it, unlike the IdleRich who earn billions every year doing nothing.

* CoolPeopleRebelAgainstAuthority: Along with her popular image, she also doesn't have a high opinion of authority figures.

* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: A game streamer known for their extensive philanthropy by doing insane online stunts which also overlap with said philanthropy (such as giving out a spaghetti factory to a public school)...are we talking about Cassidy or WebVideo/MrBeast?
* RedheadInGreen: She has red hair and her outfit and eyes feature different shades of green.

The self-declared host of the Killing Game, Headmaster Tozu claims he will bring salvation and redemption to all of the students attending Eden's Garden Academy. Despite his volatile demeanor, Tozu demonstrates surprising restraint when orchestrating the procedures of the Killing Game, almost as if his twisted rules have both structure and reason behind them. From what can be inferenced, there is definitely a man behind the mask.

* DeathGlare: One of his most common expressions, as shown in the prologue, is a piercing stare that he breaks out when he's trying to [[BreakThemByTalking mentally break]] the Ultimates.
* ExactWords: During the prologue's trial, he promises the students that they'll be allowed to leave the trial room if they complete the false murder case. He never said anything about letting them leave Eden's Garden.

* SophisticatedAsHell: He has a distinguished manner of speaking using elaborate quotes and meanings when addressing his captives, but the ''April Anarchy'' videos show he has a hidden, dorky side.

Referred to as the "Enforcer" of the Killing Game, Mara is possibly even more mysterious than Headmaster Tozu. Armed to the teeth, no remorse will be shown whenever Mara needs to take action against any of the students who break the rules. Along with her towering height and her "silent but deadly" attitude, fear will strike the hearts of anyone that falls into her sights.

* RedEyesTakeWarning: She has red eyes, and is a highly dangerous sniper and enforcer.
* TheVoiceless: So far, she is the only character that has not been shown to speak.

In her life, Cara Koskinen was the Ultimate Teacher's Aide. That came to an end one day when she was murdered, stabbed 28 times in the chest. Her murder is simulated for the students of Eden's Garden in order for the students to get a feel for the Class Trial.

* AmbiguousSituation: How much of an AssholeVictim she was is still up for debate, if she even was one. On one hand, Wenona notes that lugging an assault rifle around during her murder as strange and possibly proof that she wasn't as innocent as the rest of the cast were lead to believe, but on the other hand, there's no other evidence that points to a source of maliciousness.

* EyeScream: In order for her killer to get her off guard, they arranged for a bucket of bleach to spill on her, most of it getting in her eyes.

* AmbiguousSituation: Was their killing of Cara an act of self-defense, or a sadistic ambush? Wolfgang is utterly certain of the latter, but the lack of information makes it unclear.

* BucketBoobyTrap: Used very sinisterly to incapacitate Cara and disarm her, with bleach instead of water.

* WouldHitAGirl: '''Very''' violently, at that. Wolfgang is disgusted, declaring it "the worst thing a man could do".

* CorruptedCharacterCopy: Being a rude, foul-mouthed, attractive blonde girl with a rabbit motif, she draws similarities to [[Characters/DanganronpaMiuIruma Miu Iruma]] minus the shameless perversion. The difference between her and Miu, however, is that while Miu clearly [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold has a nice side to her]], even during the first meeting, and is clearly lacking in the social interaction department, Grace is a jerk the entire way through and has no genuine courtesy towards others, mostly thinking about herself, and is very clearly aware that she's being a jerk. In comparison, she has more of a HiddenHeartOfGold at best.

* FriendlessBackground: Her bio states that her friends left her when they realized how aggressive and self-centered she was with her talent.

* {{Expy}}: Being a rude, foul-mouthed, attractive blonde girl with a rabbit motif, she draws similarities to [[Characters/DanganronpaMiuIruma Miu Iruma]] minus the shameless perversion.

* TheArcher: He's also talented in using a bow and arrow and prefers to use them over guns.

* WouldHitAGirl: Not him, but he expresses this attitude towards Cara Koskinen's murderer. In his own words, "killing a woman is the worst thing a man could do".

* WhatTheHellHero: Along with the other cast members, she is quick to call out Daimon on his argument that ''he'' was the only one able to get the cast through the prologue trial, and that everyone else's talents were useless by comparison, as she explicitly points out his sense of self-importance, as opposed to holding back like the rest, and isolates herself from him just like everyone else.
