* AscendedExtra: An interesting and rather downplayed case of this. While Obi-Wan was never a minor character, he is much more involved with the Rebellion as opposed to becoming a reclusive hermit after the rise of the Empire as his presence on Tatooine isn't strictly required all the time comparatively speaking.

* MasterSwordsman: Not shown as much as Anakin, but he is a master of Form III and was the one who trained Anakin, himself considered the greatest swordsman in the galaxy.

* {{Nephewism}}: Unlike canon Luke, this is rather downplayed, as while Anakin ''is'' around to actually look after her, it's much safer for Lars and Beru to look after her during her development years on a consistent basis as he is busy working with the Rebellion.

* DefectorFromDecadence: After coming to his senses after Order 66, Rex outright deserted from the reformed Army after being forced to kill Jedi, especially since said killings include children.

* AdaptationalHeroism: Since he never followed Mace to Palpatine's office, he never has his final push and ends up defending the Jedi Temple during the issuing of Order 66 rather than lead the attack.

* AmbiguouslyHuman: Invoked, as part of his fear factor is that it's impossible to tell what he even is underneath his Sith robes. Before their battle, Anakin suspects he's a type of horned sentient. After he unmasks him, it reveals that he's a [[spoiler:Togruta]].

* AdaptationNameChange: Her last name is Skywalker rather than Organa since she's raised by Anakin.

* TheCorrupter: He is this to Anakin, but much to his disappointment here it ultimately doesn't work out and Anakin remains a staunch Light Sider.

* BadassBeard: Over the years, he decides to grow his beard out, making him look tougher and more grizzled.

* BrainwashedAndCrazy: He ended up being controlled by his inhibitor chip during Order 66, which led to him leading the attack on the Jedi Temple and killing many innocents alongside his troops. He's able to overcome this post-attack by cutting it out when he regains enough control.

* EvilRedhead: Downplayed. She's a redhead and a villain, but only of the TrappedInVillainy variety.

* DualWielding: He's a Jar'Kai specialist and wields twin sabers.

* TheCorrupter: He is this to Anakin, but much to his disappointment here Anakin remains a staunch Light Sider.

* OriginalCharacter: A rather interesting take on this trope. While both Legends and the rebooted EU shows that Palpatine ''does'' have kid(s), none of them are female nor do they share similarities with her.

* TrappedInVillainy: She was pretty much born and raised into the life of a Sith and she has no way out of it.

* PositiveFriendInfluence: Padme hopes that he'll be one to Lavinia so that she can eventually stave off her father's influence. It seems to have enough of a positive effect that Lavinia refuses to sell out that he's a Force sensitive to her father, even if he knows she's lying.

The apprentice of Palpatine during the events of ''Protectors''.

* OldMaster: Fits this like a glove seeing as he's almost 900 and was the master of the entire Jedi Order. Anakin and Obi-Wan still visit him to coordinate plans and seek advice from time to time as well.

* PositiveFriendInfluence: Padme hopes that he'll be one to Lavinia so that she can eventually stave off her father's influence.

* HotBlooded: She tends to be as temperamental as her father and she struggles to deal with her more aggressive emotions.

* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: Believe it or not, he inverts this. While he has a lot of failures that he hates himself for, it's still nowhere near close to how bad his time was as Darth Vader in canon, where he desperately wanted to die and believed that being Vader was the punishment he deserved for his actions because it was a FateWorseThanDeath. Here, thanks to still having his friends and him raising Leia, he has more positive outlets and manages to let go of some of his self-loathing and selfishness over time.

* PapaWolf: He's very protective of his daughter. When Infernalis made his presence know to them, he immediately moved to protect Leia and prioritized her safety before anything else.
