* BadassBaritone: Has a deep and commanding voice, which is fitting given that he is the team leader the [=MMPR=] and one of their greatest fighters.

* CastingGag: Eric shares some dialogue with one of his actor's most iconic video game roles; Vergil from ''VideoGame/DevilMayCry''. With the taunt "[[VideoGame/DevilMayCry3DantesAwakening Foolishness, Lord Zedd!]]" This also extends to his dialogue when using his super: "I need more Quantum Power!"

* MagicStaff: Rita possesses a magic wand that she never goes anywhere without, allowing her to cast all kinds of spells and project energy attacks.

* TheHero: While Wes ''is'' the Red Time Force Ranger, she takes more of an active leadership role for the team and when it comes to plot, she takes the focus and forefront of it. While Time Force for Wes was more of an ComingOfAgeStory.

* AnAxeToGrind: One of these is Poisandra's main weapon, which she uses for most of her attacks.

* WeaponOfChoice:
** [[CoolSword Power Sword]]: This sword is Jason’s personal weapon as the Mighty Morphin’ Red Ranger. Jason can charge up this sword with energy.
** [[RayGun Blade Blaster]]: This is the only personal long-range tool of Jason, which he can only use after the special move Roll Back or is in the air gameplay-wise.

* WeaponOfChoice: Her iconic magic wand.

* CoolSword: He possesses a gold and silver sword that he carries with him at all times.

** [[EmpathicWeapon Saba]]: In his White Ranger skin, Tommy wields this enchanted short sword. It has a tiger face for a pommel which has a lot of abilities like talking, project energy blasts from its eyes, and flying. Though its abilities are not shown gameplay-wise and story-wise as well.

* MagicStaff: His iconic silver "Z-Staff," with a large 'Z' on top and a curved spike on the bottom.

* WeaponOfChoice: "[[BoomStick The Golden]] [[MagicStaff Power Staff]]," which he uses to fire projectile attacks as well as summon his Zord, Pyramidas.

* MixAndMatchWeapon: The Magna Defender's main weapon is a strange combination between a double-edged knight-like sword and a shotgun/rifle blaster.

* WeaponOfChoice: His [[MixAndMatchWeapon Magna Sword/Magna Blaster]] weapon which, as the names suggest, can alternate between sword mode and gun mode.

* SwissArmyWeapon: His WeaponOfChoice, the Quantum Defender, is capable of switching between a blaster and a sword.

* CoolSword: His Shadow Saber which has a hilt that looks like a canine beast's head.

* WeaponOfChoice: Doggie never goes anywhere without his [[CoolSword Shadow Saber]], which he uses for nearly all his moves.

* HeroesPreferSwords: Mixed in with the trope below, she makes use of her Spin Sword as her main WeaponOfChoice.

* WeaponOfChoice: Drakkon uses both the Dragon Dagger and [[CoolSword Saba]] in battle. He can stab them into the ground together and unleash his destructive energy at foes for his Tide of Darkness super move.

* WeaponOfChoice: Ranger Slayer is armed with her [[TheStraightAndArrowPath Bow of Darkness]], which Drakkon created for her and which he uses to [[MindControlDevice keep her under his control]].

* DevelopersForesight: With his alternate White Ranger skin, his character model isn't the only thing that's changed. The animations for his super are altered, replacing the Dragonzord launching finger missiles for the White Tigerzord shooting chest fireballs, and even replacing the startup animation to remove the Dragon Dagger flute-playing (it still works the same in terms of attack area, damage, etc.).

*** If the dropkick connects with the opponent, doesn’t matter whether it is blocked or not, it causes Tommy to backflip. If you press the special button while in the backflip sequence, not when Tommy is on the ground already, he then does a sharp, fast diving attack called Dragon Dive.

* AlternateSelf: His Arcade story presents him as not being the Adam from the main universe (who has yet to become a ranger), but rather one from an alternate timeline devastated by Lord Drakkon.

* TheLeader: The Headstrong leader of the Time Force Rangers.

* SixthRanger: To the Jungle Fury Rangers, just like Anubis and others. He is distinct for being their mentor before kicking butt alongside his students.

* BizarreAlienBiology: While he's a HumanAlien, his species have this weird ability split apart into three different bodies if things go wrong, although this mostly applies to his unmorphed form. When morphing into the Gold Zeo Ranger, they have to combine.

* SixthRanger: Downplayed. While he is the sixth Ranger in the ''Zeo'' series, he is more of an ally then a new team member. It's when he gives his powers to Jason Lee Scott that the Gold Ranger becomes a proper SixthRanger.

* AssistCharacter: For the Sentry's super move "Sentry Squad". He calls in reinforcements, and they all [[AlphaStrike open fire]] upon the opponent.
* EvilCounterpart: To the Black Mastodon Rangers, an interesting case in that instead of being a singular person whose identities we know. ''They're an entire army of evil counterparts'', whom act as faceless minions.
* FacelessMooks: They are all soldiers given the Ranger suit of the Black Mastodon Power Ranger through it's Power Coin. To further emphasize this, instead of having the sculpted mouths that most Black Mastodon Ranger helmets have, they instead have mouth plates.

* FingerlessGloves: His Angel Grove skin gives him a pair of red leather gloves that have holes that expose the back of his hand and knuckles. Subverted for his usual red martial arts gloves when in Ranger mode, now becoming full gloves to accommodate the aesthetic.

* ALoadOfBull: His Magna Defender suit has a mild bull-like design to it and his main Zord is the Torozord.

* LegacyCharacter: [[CompositeCharacter Composite Characteristics]] aside, Mike Corbett is the second Magna Defender after the original's death.

* AdaptationalBadass: Rita was a NonActionBigBad in the original series, who always had her monsters do the fighting for her. Not the case here, where is perfectly capable of fighting personally.
