* SenpaiKohai: Has this relationship with Matoi where Klariskrays can't help but want to get to know her predecessor. She also gets mildly annoyed at Sarah being so casual with Matoi despite her position.

Added DiffLines:

* CharacterDevelopment: Compare her early in the story to much, much later. She starts out utterly rude, haughty, arrogant and a massive jerk to virtually everyone that isn't Huey. After ending up in a massive BreakTheHaughty by learning she was a disposable clone thanks to Luther's machinations, she gradually recovers and keeps her rude way of speaking, but becomes much kinder overall. Combine this with her realizing Sarah is effectively family, as is Matoi to a degree, and she greatly softens up and actually starts to have fun with other characters rather than put them down all the time.

* DeconstructedTrope: The events of Episode 1 and Episode 2 examine the issues with AsskickingEqualsAuthority. All of the Council of Six are incredibly powerful, even if the Guardian eventually outshines them, but they generally seem to prefer to do field work and fight rather than stick around with bureaucracy or actually lead the ARKS forces, with only Casra trying to handle such things alongside Quna. The result is Luther easily manipulating information behind their backs and nearly taking down all of ARKS for it, as well as inner turmoil among them with one hell of a fight over who was in the right. They don't lose their positions, but Ulku and Xiao's reworking of the system forces them to take responsibility more often as a result and defer the heaviest of the ground work to the Guardian as their frontliner.

He then proceeds to get a replacement weapon, the Blade of Genesis, which is an energy katana formed from a small device he holds on his left that acts as its sheath.

* GoodIsNotNice: For a member of the prestigious Council, she has a gigantic ego and thinks of the player as nothing more than a peon. However, she gets taken down a peg in Episode 2 when she's forced to fight Huey due to siding with Regius and Casra and realizes that she's a mass-produced clone created by Luther. While she retains her ego, it's more because she knows she has a reputation to keep up as the latest Klariskrays and is much more friendly with others, particularly with Serah, her genetic template.

* SpellMyNameWithAnS: The most inconsistently spelled name in a game full of them. Her name was given as "Clariskrays" in Episode 1's credits, she is called "Claris Claes" in the translation patch, and Episode 3's credits used "Klariskrays;" meaning that either Episode 1's credits were in error, or the new spelling is. Considering official material gives "KK" as an abbreviation for her name, the latter is probably correct, and it's what the official English translation uses.
