There's also his love of protein, and unlike Chie's obsession with meat, the number of times Akihiko mentions protein in any way in ''Persona 3'' can be counted on one hand. [[spoiler:As his ending in ''Ultimax'' shows, he's not quite over the training part either, as the narrative states that he finds college a nuisance.]]

* IJustWantToBeNormal: Played with. Mitsuru encourages him to be a normal kid, and Ken complies — at least until her kidnapping. Deep down, he knows he can ''never'' be a "normal kid" again after what he went through 3 years ago.
** Though played straight in the end. At the end of the story, Ken chooses to give up his honorary Shadow Operative status so he can at least try to make a normal life for himself.

* SchmuckBait: When the Shadow Operatives were first petitioning the government for legitimacy, they gave them a truckful of gadgets and evidence from the Kirijo Group's bad old days- but told them not to touch any of it until they were shown how to do so safely. Of course, some did- and found themselves plunged into the Dark Hour. Nobody died, because an Operative was close enough to rescue them in time, but the horror of it convinced them to legitimize the Shadow Operatives' group. Afterwards, it's found out that Kikuno ''deliberately'' invoked the trope, because she wanted her employers to be taken seriously.

** If you choose him for a MirrorMatch; you get a unique intro where the two Akihiko's perform a quick Fist Bump and then jump backwards into a fighting stance.

* AntiAir: She even says this when using one of her moves.

* DifficultButAwesome: Trying to learn how to balance between her Orgia mode and regular mode as well as how to conserve bullets gives her ''quite'' the learning curve. She's also considered to be one of the best characters in the game and is used very often in TournamentPlay.
* DramaticIrony: Comedic example, with Aigis mentioning that she felt sympathy for whoever Elizabeth may be chasing after in a romance; unaware that said "certain young man" happens to be the subject of affection for both of them.

* MachineMonotone: Mitsuru mentions that she only does this either out of habit (from becoming more human, thus being capable of developing habits in the first place), or on purpose when she wants to express an opinion.

* MoreDakka: Basically her play style when not being a rushdown character in Orgia Mode. When using strong or SP versions of her gatling gun special, she can also keep firing it until she runs out of bullets.

* RoboSpeak: Downplayed, as she generally speaks like a normal human, though with a very robotic affect. According to Mitsuru's story, however, she plays up this trope when she wants to say something she knows the other party wouldn't approve of.

* SociallyAwkwardHero: She's been improving since ''Persona 3'' but she still has her moments. When she meets Kanji, for example, she lapse back into her old days and [[BlatantLies introduces herself a transfer student]]. [[DiggingYourselfDeeper She then brings explicit attention to her gatling gun]], before just dropping it right there.

* YouRemindMeOfX: Variant 2, with Aigis mentioning how every encounter with Yu makes her more sure of how similar he is to the Persona 3 protagonist.

** There's another huge skill curve between "good" Aigis players (which includes those who do well in tournaments) and ''good'' Aigis players.

* GirlsAreReallyScaredOfHorrorMovies: Yukari's phasmophobia is still quite evident and Junpei gleefully takes advantage of this when they’re together. In her arcade route Yukari fearfully notes that the newly transformed Yasogami High School looks haunted.
