[[caption-width-right:350:Hahaha! I've never seen such a loser virgin in my life! Get your bets ready! I can't wait until the next alumni reunion and how long it's going to take to humiliate him!]] Grid's first crush. She asks him out on a date in chapter 51 of the manhwa and says she likes him, but when he gives her a LoveConfession, she goes to the restroom and calls up her friends and fellow classmates, to brag about how she plans to string him along and ultimately humiliate him at the next reunion. By sheer chance, Grid hears it as he's coming out of the bathroom himself, which makes him feel like a worthless human being. Fortunately, he soon gets the invite from Tzedarah guild which includes the phrase "we need you" allowing him to recover.
----
* BitchInSheepsClothing: She asks Grid out on a date, says she likes him, but when he reciprocates, runs off to the bathroom and gloats about setting up bets to see how long it will take to break him at the next reunion.
* BreakTheHaughty: Which she brought on herself. She sees that Grid is wealthy and influential enough to gather the attention of Yura so tries to sell herself to him and ride his coat-tails. He responds by publicly shaming her and telling her that she's nothing special, especially compared to Yura, and that he would be an idiot for taking such a terrible downgrade.
* TheFirstCutIsTheDeepest: Her cruelty in stringing Grid along traumatizes him, and it takes quite some time before he can open up his heart to a "real" woman again.
* ForTheEvulz: She had no reason to be cruel to Grid aside from cruelty for its own sake.
* GoldDigger: When she sees that Grid's wealth is genuine, she tries to suck up to him, but by this point, he already knows what a scheming two-faced bitch she is, and Yura has already made a public display of liking him, so Grid tells her to take a hike, and to never make contact with him again, even going so far as to block her number on his phone.

[[caption-width-right:350:Me, the conduit of Yatan, is suffering so much before these [[HumansAreInsects human insects!]]]] Grid and Tzedakah guild stumble unto him by accident while Guild is of searching for the Yatan cultist who stole the Perfect Divine Shield he crafted for the Church of Rebecca. He completely dominates the fight until Grid realizes he's getting a party field boost and turns the tables, killing him.
----
* DeflectorShields: He has hidden disks that block incoming enemy attacks, but the cost is so restrictive, he can only use it just before the attack lands, so he can be blindsided.
* EvilIsBigger: He's evil and he's so tall, the top of his head rubs up against the cave ceiling.
* FacialMarkings: He has triangular markings around his eyes.
* AGodAmI: He constantly keeps spouting how he's "transcended humanity as a servant of Yatan."
* HealingFactor: He has a regeneration ability so strong, Jishuka's mightest attack burning off half his body isn't enough to kill him. Grid has to follow up with Pagma's Sword Dance, Kill, boosted by the party field bonus, trigger a critical hit, and bash him in the face with Rebecca's Divine Shield to finish him off.
* HopeCrusher: His favorite activity is driving people to despair.
* HumansAreInsects: He repeatedly calls Grid and the members of Tzedakah insects for being human.
* NecessaryDrawback: His deflector shields can't be up all the time, so he can be blindsided by an attack.
* ObviouslyEvil: As if his getup and attitude wasn't enough of a clue.
* RasputinianDeath: He did not go down easy, he had to tank the most powerful attacks of Tzedakah guild ''and suffer a critical hit'' from Grid's Pagma's Sword Dance, Kill, before he went down for good.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: The red and black on his outfit comes from the blood of thousands of virgins, and the item description on his cloak spells that out.
* SmugSuper: He loves to brag about how powerful he is and he gave Tzedakah guild a very hard fight.
* SummonMagic: He can summon cerebus, in numbers.
* VillainRespect: He admires Tzedakah guild's tenacity and admits they could have beaten the cerebus, if there was only one of them.

[[caption-width-right:149:Early manhwa appearance.]][[quoteright:242:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yuranew.png]]
[[caption-width-right:242:Most recent manhwa appearance.]] Yura and Grid first met when Grid got the quest to rescue Irene, while she had got the quest to protect the temple of Yatan where Irene was being sacrificed. She initially presumes Grid is a very, very high-level player because he tanked her strongest attack and survived, not knowing about his class's LastChanceHitpoint passive ability. So when Grid dies in the process of rescuing Irene, she presumes he let her win, and returns the favor by pretending to be his girlfriend during his most recent alumni reunion. She also gives a quick heads-up, in reality, when the Yatan church is launching an all-out attack on the village of Bairan, while it was being guarded by Tzedakah guild. In return for this, Grid comes to her aid in the target-practice event when she was being bullied by all the other national teams. At that point, she genuinely develops feelings for him. Her class quest chain earns her the title [Eighth Servant of Yatan], but she's eventually expelled from the Yatan church when her class quest chain has her meet the First Servant of Yatan and he tries to kill her. After that, she signs on as Grid's knight in the city of Reidan.
----
* DarkActionGirl: She is a powerful practitioner of dark magic and was allied to a cult that sacrifices virgins and does atrocity, for fun.
* DatingCatwoman: She and Grid were dating, in the real world, while she was still allied to the church of Yatan. This is a major contributing factor in her eventual HighHeelFaceTurn.
* DebtDetester: If she feels she owes you a favor, she will bend over backwards to repay it.
* DemonSlaying: Her class after being expelled from the church of Yatan.
* ExactWords: She once promises to Grid that he would be spared from the church of Yatan when the cult attacks Tzedakah guild in revenge for the death of Malacus. She does this by luring him out of Satisfy and then telling him about the attack after she thinks it's over, underestimating the guild's sheer tenacity.
* HighHeelFaceTurn: She starts the story allied with the church of Yatan. She ends up as Grid's knight and helps to protect the innocent.
* IveComeTooFar: She quickly comes to realize the church of Yatan are rotten to the core, and regrets taking her [Servant of Yatan] quest chain, but she's come too far along on the quest to abandon it by that point.
* LadyAndKnight: She's the knight to Grid's lord, after novel chapter 269.
* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: After she's expelled from the church of Yatan, because the First Servant of Yatan tried to kill her, she goes with her conscience and turns on them, becoming the hidden legendary [Demon Slayer] class.
* SquishyWizard: When she was a mage allied with the church of Yatan, she had powerful magic but poor physical defenses. Once she becomes Grid's knight this is reversed.
* TrappedInVillainy: Until she's expelled from the church of Yatan, she was bound to complete her class quest chain as much as possible, under orders from the South Korean government who was sponsoring her as the fifth top ranker of the game.

When Grid rushed over to the capital, as a quest to rescue his father-in-law, Marquis Elsim, with what was then Tzenderak guild following close behind, they managed to rescue the capital city, then after reorganizing into Overgeared Guild, with Grid in charge, with a population of less than 20, completely owned the golem army, including the "invincible" ancient weapons. It's only when said ancient weapons started whipping out an AdaptiveAbility and DefeatEqualsExplosion that the guild started to struggle, and even then they were still victorious.

* SourOutsideSadInside: The reason for his abrasive nature is that he's been horribly mistreated for most of his life, with even his parents having given up hope on him and treating him as air, and whenever it looked like he would get his head out of the muck, someone would come along and stomp on it. So it takes him a while, a good while, before he realizes that the good people of Tzendarak guild weren't simply more of the same, looking to exploit his blacksmith class and then dump him when they don't need him any more.

* HappilyMarried: His marriage to Irene Steim is a happy one, and they both dote on each other.

* WhoIsLaughingNow: Once he manages to clear his debts and prosper at Satisfy, he goes to his alumni reunion sporting an 800 million won sports-car and shows up arm in arm with the in-universe celebrity Yura, who then gives him a peck on the cheek, before leaving. He then browbeats the guy who loved to bully him in high-school, and mugged him at the last alumni reunion and gave the rest TheReasonYouSuckSpeech when they tried to suck up to him, reminding them how they just pointed and laughed when he was in trouble, and blew off first crush who mocked his LoveConfession and tried to string him along, ''after she asked him out in the first place.'' Telling her she's nothing special, especially compared to someone like Yura.

! Overgeared Guild:

[[folder: As a whole]]
* BadassCrew: One of the strongest guilds in the game with a total of less than 20 users and some powerful NPC.
* TrueCompanions: They may love to bicker, argue, and give each other grief, but they are always there for each other through thick and thin.
* WeDoTheImpossible: If there's something bothering you that nobody else can deal with, and you manage to gather their support, they will triumph, especially when Grid takes to the stage. In the [Golem Invasion] event, Giant Guild was utterly flattened, and over 100,000 high level knights from the Eternal Kingdom couldn't do squat. [[caption-width-right:350:What kind of mineral only spawns with a dungeon boss. Do I have to mine in a dragon's lair next?]] TheProtagonist. He starts the story getting completely smacked around by Ashur at the end of a quest that was forced unto him despite being way above his character level. Rather than risk losing the quest reward upon his inevitable defeat, he uses it on himself. After many trials, humiliations, and set-backs, he becomes known as "God Grid," taking the world of Satisfy by storm, once he starts defeating the top rankers of the game ''in seconds.''
----
* AchievementsInIgnorance: He is a horrible player in Satisfy, but precisely because of that, he has stumbled unto many impressive achievements, including his marriage to the NPC Irene Steim, and has made himself and his guild members real powerhouses that few can contend with.
* BigBrotherInstinct: Do not mess with his little sister, Shin Seihee. He will mess you up good, come hell or high water.
* BornUnlucky: His life was full of misfortune, up to and including his experiences in Satisfy. To wit, he's been bullied, laughed at, his first school field trip involved getting mugged and kidnapped, and he started the story with a 10 billion won debt through circumstances beyond his control.
* CoolButInefficient: When he gets to smithing, he focuses on the quality of the goods he crafts more than their quantity. As such, he can spend two hours crafting a pitchfork, which should take a few minutes, but that pitchfork will be a [Unique] level item that can magically make a ThirstyDesert into arable land.
* DifficultButAwesome: His class [Pagma's Descendant] has a lot of hidden pitfalls and difficulties, but because Grid worked his ass off, he's become one of, if not the most powerful player in the game.
* EnlightenedSelfInterest: While he does move on behalf of heroic goals, he always keeps his own self-interest at the front of his thoughts.
* TheFirstCutIsTheDeepest: When he was cruelly played by the girl he's had a crush on, for years, he was devastated, and only trusted female NPC, like Irene, for months, real-time.
* HeroicNeutral: He works primarily on behalf of his friends and family, or his own profit, but otherwise prefers to be left alone. Should he encounter someone brutalizing the innocent, he will rush in to help, if he's able.
* IdiotHero: Downplayed. He's a moron. Fortunately, he knows he's a moron, so he can still make wise decisions, and when he's in doubt, seeks out advice from experts.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: His personality is very abrasive, but he has a good and noble core that makes him genuinely heroic.
* MagneticHero: Despite having an abrasive personality, he manages to gather people to his cause by genuine acts of heroism.
* OxymoronicBeing: He is a bundle of walking contradictions, especially the fact that he suffers from all the seven deadly sins and benefits from all the seven heavenly virtues at the same time.
* SeriousBusiness: He takes any and all crafting requests as sacred tasks, regardless of how mundane the request is, even farming implements, and spends as much time as needed to get the best possible outcome. Ruining his work will drive him into an UnstoppableRage.
* UnluckilyLucky: His misfortune is so bad, it tends to loop back around again to give him a lucky outcome. As a prime case-in-point, his blacksmith class was never meant to be such a powerhouse, but because his odds of crafting [Legendary] gear were so poor even the programmers were worried his character was bugged, he didn't get the stat corrections that should have triggered upon crafting his fifth item of that rank doesn't happen until several months too late, often making him stronger than other users twice his level, ''even after his level is already in the hundreds.''
* UnskilledButStrong: He has stats far higher than the norm, and his class quests have granted him some very powerful skills, but because he's a bit of a moron, he doesn't use them in battle as efficiently or effectively as he should, regardless of his vast combat experience.
* WildCard: His loyalties tend to be very fluid, but his family and TrueCompanions can always still count on him.
* WithGreatPowerComesGreatHotness: As he grows stronger in his blacksmith class, he becomes more handsome, both in the game and in reality.
