* ToxicFriendInfluence: Pretty much every friendship Iggy can develop is destructive in some fashion. Gidget is psychotically obsessed with him to the point of being willing to restrain and repeatedly rape him, Genzou becomes more callous of Orlam when Iggy is around, and his words caused Bucks to enter into a loveless marriage with Hunar. [[spoiler: At the end of Arc 1, he realizes that any long-term relationship with him is dangerous, and wishes to erase himself from existence.]]

* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Iggy is technically responsible for most of Gidget's issues. By telling her to quit computer programming and pursue girlier interests, Iggy inadvertently pushed her further into the DespairEventHorizon, resulting in Gidget forcing herself to be girlier in order to be accepted.
** His words caused Bucks to enter into a loveless marriage with Hunar.

* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: Orlam accuses of having this in Arc 4. Despite the crappy way he treats Orlam, deep down he's crippled by a sense of worthlessness and guilt and feels he's not good enough for Iggy.

* JerkassToOne: He's on good terms with most people, but he shows a side of bitterness towards Orlam for reasons that are never disclosed, except for a NoodleIncident at prom.

* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: Iggy and Gidget used to be into computer programming, until she surpassed him in talent. Feeling left behind, Iggy grew jealous and resentful of Gidget for her success and told her to pursue girlier interests instead.

* AmbiguousSituation: It's never explained what is Cecil. Is he one of Wonderland's residents? A construct created by Gidget? Or is he inspired on a real person in the real world?

* StiffUpperLip: His default mood. ironically, [[spoiler: the Cecil from the final timeline is an exchange British student]].

* BlessedWithSuck: Sure, he can revise the past and try to fix things, but that doesn't mean he remembers previous loops....[[FailureIsTheOnlyOption or that he succeeds]].

* ChildhoodFriendRomance: Can have this with Genzou, Orlam or Gidget depending on the arcs.

** [[spoiler: When his CooldownHug to Orlam in Arc 5 kills him, due to Orlam having turned himself into a RevenantZombie powered by his hatred of Genzou, he does the only thing he can think of and restores Orlam's heart to his body. Thankfully, it works.]]

A mysterious willow tree that's been known for granting wishes. It fell on obscurity over the years, until it was found by the gang 20 years ago.

* BenevolentGenie: It can grant anything you want according to your intention, no strings attached.

* EvilIsVisceral: Once it assimilates Saydie's corpse, it becomes infected with thick, pumping purple veins.
* HoistByTheirOwnPetard: It reset time over and over in order to give Saydie enough consciousness to be granted a wish. What they didn't count is that Saydie is a DeathSeeker, resulting in Iggy destroying the tree.

* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Gives this to Genzou, Orlam, Gidget and Bucks as it attacks them with their roots.
* TheResenter: Is furious with humanity for forgetting about it, and especially with the gang for letting their hopes down.
* WhenTreesAttack

* FaceDeathWithDignity: Happens to her as Iggy destroys the Wishing Tree, resulting in a new timeline and Saydie being erased from existence. She cries as she embraces the inevitable since she finally managed to free her parents from an unhappy marriage....at the cost of her life.

* NatureAdoresAVirgin: Why the Wishing Tree made her its vessel. Since she's a baby, her blood is especially pure.

* WalkingSpoiler: If you had been reading this, you may notice that there are more than to Saydie than just a plot device.

* CooldownHug: Is prone to give these to Iggy in Arc 2.

* DefiantToTheEnd: When Orlam has him tied down in the caudron room, Genzou absolutely refuses to show pain in the way he wants, much to Orlam's frustration. He later settles with torturing Iggy instead, finally getting a reaction from Genzou.

** In Arc 3, he develops feelings for Iggy after he visited him at his house and comforted him when he tried to self-harm by drinking bleach.

* EntitledToHaveYou: Perhaps due to [[spoiler: her mother's high expectations on her and people rejecting her for being non-binary]], Gidget feels entitled to things that she believes the world denied her, and will do anything to get recompensated. She treats Iggy like a big prize and forces herself on him when he refuses her.

* EveryoneHasStandards: Though she laughs along at Orlam's bullying, she never instigates it herself and admits that [[spoiler: Genzou mocking his dead mother]] was a dick move. She still finds Orlam unsettling like everyone else though.

* GoGetterGirl: A classic case. She excels in school, is a ExtracurricularEnthusiast, a WrenchWench and a perfectionist. However this is deconstructed, and it becomes clear with each arc that she only does it to get approval from her family and Iggy.

* LoveMartyr: She relentlessly pursues and loves Iggy, to the point of changing her hobbies to appeal to him more.

* WellDoneSonGuy: Her mother has high expectations for her, wanting her to find an ideal man and form an ideal family. [[spoiler: Hence why Gidget reacts badly after finding out Iggy is asexual and thus unable to give her the life she wants.]]
* WrenchWench: Was a talented computer programmer, until Iggy told her to start pursuing girlier interests. Arc 4 shows that she's still into programming though.
* {{Yandere}}: A huge one for Iggy. Her mental issues become much more obvious following his rejection. [[spoiler: Averted in the final timeline, when Iggy rejects her before she grows too codependant and she takes it surprisingly well.]]
