* FantasticRankSystem: Dokkaebis are ranked by their strength and power, generally decided by the viewership and donations received from their channel or by promotions from the Dokkaebi Bureau. Each rank grants certain privileges to Dokkaebis of that rank, from better clothes to looking larger, to the point that the Great Grade Dokkaebis look very human in apperance compared to their lower ranking brethren. There are four general ranks a dokkaebi can achieve, listed here in ascending order:

--> Advanced-Grade
--> Great-Grade (Dokkaebis of this rank are referred to as Great Dokkaebis)
--> There are also the Dokkaebi Enforcers, which are [[spoiler: former Constellations punished for one reason or another.]] These [[spoiler: transformed Constellations]] tend to dislike their Dokkaebi brethren, and work to enforce the rules of the Star stream and punish those who do not.

* GameFace: In the webtoon whenever a Dokkaebi is angered, their face gets extremely detailed with [[RedEyesTakeWarning black-red eyes]], in contrast of their typical childish goat appearances.
* TheHost: They are the ones running the apocalypse for the Constellations' entertainment and managing the livestream.
* KillerRabbit: In the comic version, they looks like a cute fluffy goblins. However, they are capable of incredibly cruelty, such as exploding multiple player's heads when they refused to be quiet or changing the difficulties of scenarios for a more exciting stream.
* SlaveToPR: They heavily depend on Constellations' support. While they are sadists, they need to keep the game fair and interesting or they'll lose income or get punished. This is something Kim Dokja uses to his advantage as if he can make certain Constellations enough interested or disappoited in him, a Dokkaebi running the Scenario has to follow whatever suggestions they send to the channel.

The proctor who watches over the people in the train car and sees who survives and who dies. He seems to enjoy changing the time limit to watch the humans struggle and enacts harsh punishments for those who don't listen to what he says. Kim Dokja makes a deal with him, and the relationship the two begin to create soon becomes one of Bihyeong's defining qualities. Later on, He alongside Kim Dokja become [[spoiler: the parental figures to Biyoo]]

* BerserkButton: When the Incarnations don't believe what he is saying and don't listen to his rules.
* ButtMonkey: Dokja and later on, [[spoiler: most of Kim Dokja's Company]] bully him to get him to do certain things. He usually ends up just complaining about it.
* DealWithTheDevil: While he's not a literal devil, Dokja still makes a deal with Bihyeong that he gets to keep half the coin's Bihyeong makes from his streams and in return Dokja will help him become the King of Dokkaebi's. Funnily enough, it's Bihyeong who ends up being more annoyed at making the deal with Dokja than the other way around.
* HeelFaceTurn: Slowly becomes more and more sympathetic to [[spoiler: Kim Dokja's Company]] and their survival as the Scenarios continue on, and even becomes protective of them towards the more malicious Dokkaebis. [[spoiler: Even at the risk of being destroyed as a Great Dokkaebi, Bihyeong still chooses Kim Dokja's Company as the story he will sponsor and later on, ends up sacrifing himself to help Dokja and the others survive.]]
* KillerGameMaster: His first scenario encourages people to kill each other due to a specifically phrased condition and everyone who doesn't make the time limit dies, which he adjusts whenever he feels like and he personally kills people he dislikes, all with extreme amusement.
* NoNameGiven: He does not deign to give the players his name and is only referred to as the Dokkaebi. Later on, Dokja reveals he knows his name is Bihyeong.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: When he gets really mad or full of blood-lust his eyes turn red.
* SlasherSmile: When he ramps up the difficulty of the game for his players.
* StarfishLanguage: He speaks in symbols until he changes it to a language the people in the car can understand, likely Korean given where they're located.
* YourHeadASplode: His punishment for the players which is an instant death.

* TokenHeroicOrc: Biyoo is the only dokkaebi who never purposefully hurt the Incarnations for entertainment, despite having the same urges as the others to please their viewers and make the stream interesting for them. Even when pressured to she actively resists the urge and even goes so far as to give helpful sub-scenarios to help the Incarnations and especially Kim Dokja out.

The Outer Gods, also known as the "gods of the other worlds", are [[EldritchAbomination eldritch-like]] beings whose forms can resemble anything, yet nothing. Some of the most [[TheDreaded feared]] beings in the Star Stream System, the outer gods are [[spoiler: [[TheReveal the forgotten and outcast beings from the abandoned previous regressions of TWAS.]]]]

* AndIMustScream: [[spoiler: The very action of becoming an Outer God entails this, as the survivors of Yoo Junghyeok's regressions are left to travel the Star Stream worldlines for many millennia, forcibly being changed and turned into the forms that they are now, and often leading to them losing much of their sanity, and ending up as mere pawns in the scenarios of the current regression as well.]]
* BrownNoteBeing: Even just ''seeing or hearing'' outer gods can result in Incarnations collapsing on the spot, and the strongest Outer Gods can affect lesser Constellations as well.
* BizarreAlienLimbs: Depictions of them appearing ''always'' show them with tentacles.
* EquivalentExchange: Outer Gods are given the same amount of power during their rampages as the Probability costs that Constellations and Incarnations have expended, meaning they get stronger when certain things happen that might not be "narratively" plausible.
* FateWorseThanDeath: ''This'' is what happens to [[spoiler: the people left behind by Yoo Junghyeok in his regressions, becoming nothing more than eldritch beings left to roam the worldlines waiting for the Final Scenario and for the regressions to end.]]
* GodzillaThreshold: Any time Probability ends up being used too much, the Outer Gods are released and given the ability to wreak havoc in the Star Stream, so Constellations have to be ''very'' careful.
* OminousVisualGlitch: Many of their appearances in the Webtoon can invoke this, with one of their more memorable appearances being that of unblinking hyperrealistic eyes looking at the Constellations.
* ShoutOut: Their very existence acts as one for [[Franchise/CthulhuMythos H.P Lovecraft,]] with specific references to [[spoiler: Literature/TheCallOfCthulhu, The Horror From The Hills by Frank Belknap Long, and The Doom That Came to Sarnath from Lovecraft's Dream Cycle short stories.]]
* TheDreaded: Among even the Constellations, the mere presence of Outer Gods is enough to make them scatter or panic, and seeing them begin to appear after significant Probablity costs is something many of them do not like to see.
* TheoryOfNarrativeCausality: Probability costs that happen when Constellations or Incarnations do something that are narratively "unlikely" or "unnatural" is a dangerous thing, and once too much Probability has been expended, the Outer Gods are released and given just as much power as the Probability has been spent.
* TimeAbyss: Even more so than the Constellations are, since [[spoiler: many of them are the forgotten and abandoned beings from Yoo Junghyeok's regressions, meaning many of them are more than several hundred thousand years old.]]
* UndeadAbomination: Described by Dokja to not be ''living'' beings and thus not possesing what we can consider blood or "flesh."

* CollectiveIdentity As it turns out [[spoiler: there are actually ''four'' constellations who collectively share the modifier of The Prisoner of the Golden Headband, with Meihouwang (King of Stone Monkeys) being the first chronologically and the one who ruled over the Water Curtain Cave, Bimawen (Manager of Heaven's Stables) being the second and the one acknowledged by the Jade Emperor for his magical prowess, The Great Sage Equaling Heaven (the one we're most familiar with) being third and representing the Sun Wukong who fought against the heavens looking down on him, and Douzhanshengfo (Victorious Fighting Buddha) being the fourth chronologically and the one who gained enlightenment from The Journey of the West's events. The events of the Journey of the West Remake scenario eventually leads to ''Dokja'' being the fifth and newest of them all, with the modifier Prisoner of the Constrictive Headband to boot.]]

* SelfDuplication One of his traditional powers, often appearing to Dokja as one of his clones in order to limit his own probability costs.

* ArchEnemy The Ruler of East Hell treats him as such, and vice-versa, both acting as the Absolute Evil and Absolute Good of their factions respectively. Though the events of [[spoiler: The Great War of Saints and Demons]] shows the two still respect one another, and are in fact as close as two sides of the same coin might be.

* TheChessmaster Has no compunctions against manipulating even his own nebula in order to further his plans, and his conversational style is noted to be one that listens to his own desires through the mouths of others.
